He depends on his buffs and necros and messmer can easily debuff him. Especially Messmer are perfect against mages as they have debuffs which make dmg when the enemy is casting spells.

Wrong, play the beta, you can for example go for 2 debuf spells on weapon for necro and there are 2 other debuf spells (one well, one normal) for the right skillbar. --> 4 disenchants.

here's the Elementalist 101:

Fire Attunement is mostly concerned with Aoe damage

Water Attunement is mostly concerned with healing and support

Air Attunement is mostly concerned with single target high damage

Earth Attunement is mostly concerned with armor and defence

attunements have passive and active effects for when you switch to it from another attunement.

sticking to 1 attunement is bad, change attunements based on the situation at hand, though you can specialize in one more than others

@KimbleeCrimson As far as i understand it for this kind of scenario pvp you have all buffed up to 80 and so is the equipment so it will be the same i guess. But for WvW you have only stats buffed to 80 no skills and no equipment will be given to you.

1) Raids will be much more of open world, they are called Epic events and it's much more crazy. The combat is very fluid (too fluid to be precise) and responsive.

2) The art style is great, it gives off a painterly feel to it not only that but each concept art you see is what it looks like ingame.

3) Once the game is out they will put in free content and they will release expansion, and you don't need to buy GW 1 (unless you do it for the HOM stuff).

@TheHidds for your 1) there are different types of DE there is your normal, elite, and possibly heroic (which apllies to the endgame content of the continent of Orr) these will be crazy ass epic events that people can join in and will be hard (very hard for Orr) plus there are 30+ dungeons experiances avaiable (12 dungeons experiances for max level including the zhaitain one) there are 4 modes for the dungeons (story mode and 3 other explorable modes) the explorable modes are hard...

Better production, better graphics, better class balance, better pvp. It's just newer, and is expected for this game to be better. WoW is old and it's expansions are just attempts to keep up with current games... It had it's time. All games die, so let it rest. Diablo will be out soon and you'll have something new to wank about. @FiduciaInDio You can leave them to die, you can just kill them using your skills, or you can use the finishing move. The stomping animation is simply a placeholder at the moment. In later demos they are impaled by a battle stranded.

I like to say that GW2 controls like an MMO and has abilities like a Dota (tools that you can use in diverse ways to adapt to changing situations), but its physical interactions are like an FPS (dodging projectiles, attacking from out of range, etc.). @btbrotherton No, no mana. There is an energybar used for defensive play (dodging and so on). Powers have CDs, and some powers/skills link together, so you have to plan your play accordingly.
