@Zxanttu I don't really know? I haven't played the game in ages, the time when I did play it I was playing with people who were in a clan, the people who post montages on YouTube. I am really hoping for Gears 3 to go back to the old roots of Gears 1, I won't buy Gears 3 until I test it out first haha.

ok i have 101 executions in assassination, execution, and warzone COMBINED. and im not getting the achievement? do i have to get 100 in one playlist or something? plz help

This may confuse u a bit but ill try to explain. Whenever you have 6 people in a match every kill you get counts towards achievements. After there is less than 6 people, as people quit a lot in gears now, none of the kills you get count towards the achievement. Does this clear things up?

Yeah... When gears first came out nobody quit but now you cant even play a match without at least 2 or 3 quitting.

In Gears 2 now there is a match penalty of 1,500 points if you quit early. Some still quit, but most play to the end, even if they just sit at a spawn point.

I'm not agreeing with you since I enjoy Gears 2 quite a bit. But at the same time I wont deny that Gears 1 was better in the sense that it was a simpler game. No stuns, no bullshit wall frags, no meat shields. It was just you, a gun, and the enemy and that was awesome. I will say this though guns having stopping power in Gears 2 is pretty great and I love that. They seemed to have made shit better with TU3 though.
