pueto galera is located in oriental mindoro, about 6 hours or less on bus or car from manila, then you take a ferry or a catamaran boat from batangas city. it used to be a hidden paradise with limited tourists. it was such a luxury and a priviledged living in that island before. it's still an experience even now, but you really have to notice the skanky red light all over the place now. and don't forget about the stinky sewer smell all over the place, it really is horrible!

i am a filipino, you nong! and i actually grew up in that place until my family had to move to australia. all i'm saying is that the place now is dirty and an absolute mess compared to the puerto galera i used to know, it was a paradise place you could be proud of.and now it's just a one big stinky place full of prostitutes too and all sorts of horrible kind. your council should do something about the mess instead of sitting on their fat asses and all they do is talk and nothing else!
That is not Sabang. Sabang is where you arrive . Sabang beach is dirty . Place now is turning into "Angeles on the sea " Too many sex tourists and Aussie criminals living there now.
Bars are full of cheap hookers. Most guys use Diving as a excuse to go and perve girls

Went there 2 years ago and what a big change, even La laguna Beach, so many places in Puerto are now a dirty, skanky, rip-off places. White Beach? Too crowded, overrated,too many annoying vendors. I grew up in Puerto and I miss the place but what they've done to the place is just TRAGIC. Lots of sleazy, ugly, cheapskate westerners living there. BOO!

yup!! i can actually back this up because i grew up in that place and it never used to be like that. people there are mukhang pera and they'll try to rob you evevn under your nose whenever they get that opportunity. the whole sewerage issue of puerto galera is a "no hope" situation. the place stinks and all these skanky prostitutes in all every corner. and all these filipino tourists coming from the big city, they litter the place with all their rubbish!
