Wow....I remember the first car trip I took to Pitt. It was looking kinda shady, gray skies and generally crappy all around until the tunnel. When we emerged on the other side of Ft. Pitt Tunnel, the sun was shining and I swear I heard angels sing....it was definitely a moment fit for the "2001: A Space Odyssey" soundtrack...
I remember the first time I took my sister to Pittsburgh. She was driving and wanted to know as went in to the tunnel why the hell we were going through a tunnel. Then we came out the other side and she said "Whoa, that's pretty neat." Go Steelers!
