The proposed anti-gay Amendment to our Constitution was the final desperate effort by the "Christian" right to use gays as a political pawn. The anti-gay crusade is dying, and there is no chance of a resurrection.

Our next President will be a Democrat. The desperate schemes of the extreme right are backfiring, like the shameless "debate" over how much longer Terri Shiavo had to "live". We've seen the workings of the rat, and we have learned to smell one.

this is so stupid. the constitution states that every person is granted the freedom of religion, and granted the persuit of happiness. by not allowing same sex unions/marriages, we are obviously not granting those rights to the gay population of this country. even the christian fanatics need to learn that the bible teaches them to love everyone, so why is there all this hate?? we all need to grow up.
