You have the bought the cheapest jawbone there is, ontop of that, you used the wrong ear piece and that's why it sounded like styrofoam, and it broke cause it didn't fit in your ear right so you just kept jamming it in your ear....

My second jawbone so far and the first one still works great!! Just had to have the icon and it's even better

I finally got my unit paired by NOT following the jawbone instructions and watching the you tube demo which was right. This company deserves to fail. It's ironic, they sent me a replacement for one that their tech said was broken. Now the replacement won't pair but the original "broken one will if you ignore jawbone instructions and follow the you tube video for pairing the jawbone 2.

I bought a Jawbone II about a year ago on Amazon for much less...about USD 55 delivered. It's been very reliable, with excellent sound quality, battery life, and noise cancellation. I also bought a set of jabra gel pieces, which fit around the smallest Jawbone II silcone earpiece. I wear glasses, so the hook earpieces are less comfortable for me.

IMHO, if you buy the most recently replaced model, you can easily save 50 dollars or more and with little tech downside.

I can't disagree. I paid much less for mine at Sam's Club / or Costo (can't remember), But my main complaint is that it is not loud enough in my truck! I have a reasonably LOUD vehicle interior, and have had no luck getting it to go loud enough.

Sound quality is fine otherwise, so I don't 100% agree with this guy's assessment.

Also, he let himself get ripped off, considering I paid about $50 for mine.

Heads-up people, this thing is OLD. It's been replaced with the Jawbone 2 Prime. This thing did suck, but also keep in mind it was the first of its kind...using that white nub to detect vibrations to enable the mic.

Aliph is a good company, personally I hate these 'sets since they don't fit my ears but checkout the Jawbone 2 before making a decision.

Blueant Headsets are better then Jawbone I use to own a motorola one but i hate to break it to you but when I bought a blueant z9i, Its quality of sound quality on my LG Versa was incredibly soo crisp i had no problem with my blueant headset... If n e one is lookin for a awesome headset for a phone or a video games system to play online with people, Bueant is the way to go.... I recommed the Q1,z9i or the V1... Blueant is the way to go for n e wireless use....

the jawbone is the best headset i have used, i currently use a blue ant and its not as nice for noise reduction....if you dont like the headset then return it, 30 days and you can take it back. i think its your own fault if its causing you agony and regret, its called return it...

I agree, Jawbones are not great, but Motorola bluetooth headsets are by far the worst headsets on the market, their mics are unusable and their speakers are terrible.

I went through 6 bluetooth headsets, 3 of which were motorola, including their most expensive ones, before I found one I liked, a Sony.

Now I have 3 Moto headsets I wasted just over $300 for...

How can you even say they are great?

I have the jawbone and it is a great bluetooth. I have been using it with my iphone 3g and now with my new 3gs. My only complaint is that it doesnt fit my ears that well. Other than that it is an awesome bluetooth. Oh and dude grease your chair and shave your sideburns, that may help with your bluetooth.

You are a MORON. I've had this headset since the day it came out and it is BY FAR the best BT headset available. Yes, the earloop sucks, but a quick and inexpensive solution is to replace the rubber ear insert with a Jabra eargel (about $5.00 at Radio Shack). With this setup I no longer need the earloop and the volume is much improved.

GO ahead and buy your crappy Motorola headset so the person you're talking to hears every little noise around you and has to say "What? HUH?" about 100 times.

I just purchased the Aliph Jawbone and i have to say it blows them away. i got off of e-bay brand new factory sealed for $60.00 plus $5.00 S&H. it was $35.00 less than the motorola H700 and a way better.

My experience is completely different. I absolutely LOVE my Jawbone headset -- as do the people I talk to. The noise cancellation is absolutely the best noise cancellation out there. You can hold conversations in a noisy car, airports, etc., where other headsets are useless. Mine has also been very durable. I've tried to make it "come apart" like this guy claims bt haven't been able to make it happen. It is important that you keep te thing touching your cheek though. Try reading the manual.

I've had it for over 6 months, sexy packaging (black with showcase top) and its worked perfectly, even when out for a bike ride (been very durable for me). I had it shipped strait from the company's website (Jawbone) to canada, dont see how that would make a difference though.

I am now using a replacement unit and to be perfectly honest it does not sound any better than my previous headset(perhaps it sounds better with different phones) and I feel like I have to be very carful with it. It should have a big Fragile printed on it.

I've had mine for a few months and I love it. The sound at both ends is great. People that I call or that call me can't even tell that I'm using a Bluetooth. Maybe yours was defective or it could be your phone. It is much better than the high end Jabra that I had previously. I recommend it.
