hey i just ordered the 7 piece mic set. can you help me out? what kind of cables did you buy and where do you plug them in on the mixer? are they the 1/4 jack?

@AWrootbeer16 I would suggest getting XLR instead of 1/4". Just do a search for XLR or Microphone cable and that should lead you to what you need.

The two overheads, snare, and kick mic have XLR plugs, so they go into the first four channels, while the three tom mics have TRS (balanced 1/4") plugs, which go into the next 3 channels.

@JOSEXAMF Yeah, that's the mic set I have, although I'm actually using a different kick mic specified in my video info. I'm glad you like how my setup sounds. It doesn't really sound that great compared to a high-end kit and high-end mics, but it's enough for me.

Because i've only playing since April 2010 (7 months now) and i can play things like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, of course i still have a small Set (not even a 18"crash :( ) but i can play this long or even more
