I am a designer and developer as well, my job needs my work to look the same in IE, FF, Safari, and new Chrome. It's not working. I have IE and FF looking good, but Safari and Chrome are killing me. BTW, this video is funny.
The best solutions I've found are 1) use very simple design elements which can't possibly show up wrong or 2) Use a server side solution to detect what browser they're using, and make two separate versions of the page depending on their needs.
