  • I can only say what my experience has been..I injured my back in 93 and have had pain and numbness in both my legs. Chiro helps relieve the pain...just this month I had terrible pain in my left leg and found it hard to walk and sleep. Chiro helped relieve that...it has not cured my condition but has given me a better quality of life.

What do the MD's offer except surgery or pain meds?

  • I'm sorry to read about your wife. I pray that no one else ever has to experience what you two have gone through. Unfortunately, there are risks involved in everything we do. There are a small number of patients who become partially or fully paralyzed after vaccines, but I would not recommend that no one else ever gets vaccinated based on this, would you?

  • As in all treatments there is a risk, its just too bad you tube does not have the space to show all the deaths, tragedys, over drugged people, demaged children due to vacines ect ect.......As a society you need to take a closer look to were the real demage is being inflicted on the population at large..........

  • @ihatthnwtt You're comparing vaccines with chiropractors??

  • Me and my wife were both injured by different Chiro's they are quacks!!!!

  • As someone who has practiced yoga, I don't think people get the benefits from the manipulation of the vertebra where they push on your spine. I feel that, the benefits are due to being placed in the various positions and stretching your body. This occurred to me when, I realized that, many of the positions my chiropractor put me in were vary much the same as yoga stretches. I quit going to the chiropractor after he claimed it cured cancer, deafness, and countless other illnesses. Its all voodoo.

  • Thank you for your efforts in raising awareness in this subject. I was just about to give chiropractic adjustments a try when I stumbled on this video while doing my research on it. Further in my research I have seen how many cases of strokes have been reported with chiropractic care sought soon before the occurrence of the stroke. Thank you for the awareness again.

  • i feel for this couple very much , i believe i would like to see if the chiropractor in question was negligent , dr.s lose patients everyday in operations , also there is whats called SALON SYNDROME

where bending the head back in a sink cause strokes. mostly do to to to pre existing conditions (athrosclorsis) sp? still what happened to this couple is terrible but i would look at the INDIVIDUAL CHIROPRACTOR their are reckless dr.s everywhere, god bless this couple

  • Thank you both for doing these videos. Words can not express how powerful they are. God Bless you.

  • this is very important that people see what they are actually risking when they let someone touch their neck. i will never forget what you have said and showed me, thank you for doing this.

  • Too bad there is no science to back up the claims. This is yet another witch hunt. Unfortunate, yes. Chiro caused? Doubtful.

  • My heart goes out to both of you. I too suffered a stroke from a chiro neck twist. I share your anger and pain. I admire you and your wife's strength. I too am trying to raise awareness. My story was in Self Magazine last year. We WILL prevail. We WILL stop them from hurting more people. God bless you both.

  • And you have yet to prove it. No science backs it up.

  • The only thing here that science doesn't back up is that Chiropractic is anything but sheer quackery. Asshole.

  • Insults don't replace facts. In this case, lack thereof. Dipshit.

  • Whatever you say, wanna-be MD. In this case, Chiropractic murderer. Dipshit. You are a fraud, and all who support you are frauds. Chiropractic "medicine" is absolute BULLSHIT. Fraud.

  • Wow, you can call people names and make unsubstantiated remarks. Has your Mom changed your diaper lately? Your getting cranky. Your ignorant post typifies the 'anti-chiropractic' movement. Keep up the good work.

  • Whatever you say, phony MD. Chiropractic is not backed up by any science. Do you even know how Chiropractic was invented? Yeah, Daniel David Palmer, a "magnetic healer", just stated it without any proof in the 1890's. Sorry buddy. Chiropractic is considered "alternative medicine", which signifies that it is pure bullshit. Once an "alternative medicine" has been shown by science to work, it simply becomes "medicine". Sorry bone-head, but twisting the spine doesn't cure or help anything.

  • Well, ignorance is bliss for you. You clearly haven't done much actual research, big surprise. Chiropractic in the US was started that way, but such similar things have been around for a few millenium. No, once proven to work, many things aren't 'medicine' since that's the label for drugs/pharmaceuticals. But nice try.

  • "You clearly haven't done much actual research" Are you talking to the Chiropractic community?

All one needs to do is do a simple google-search to see that Chiropractic is considered "alternative medicine" and is backed by ZERO science. The truth is there for you to see, no-matter how deep you bury your head in the sand.

  • Once again, you give a silly generalization based on your little experience with google. And you haven't any idea of 'truth'.

  • First of all, you haven't a clue as to what my experience is. I was simply demonstrating how to get on the right path of finding out the facts: that chiropractic is nothing but left-over 19th century nonsense. Open your eyes, and stop pretending that chiropractic is a valid form of medical science, because it isn't.

  • Yes, certainly no chiropractic research exists. More so, none in the last twenty years. Right.....

  • I'm talking about independent research, not research done by chiropractors. Obviously, those are invalid, for the same reason that you can't use a word in it's own definition.

  • Yes, it can't be done by chiros because.....well, they know how it's supposed to be done. Yes. but there is independant research using chiros, sorry, but it's true.

  • Name one independent, peer-reviewed article that speaks of the veracity of chiropractic, and agrees that chiropractors can cure all the diseases they claim to be able to cure.

  • Name one that states all proedures done at US hospitals are scientificaly proven to work on all applications. You're ridiculous.

  • They are proven to work in most applications. Otherwise, they wouldn't use them, moron. On the other hand, I don't see many hospitals using Chiropractic quackery to cure everything from spinal injury to plaque psoriasis. You still fail, and Chiropractic is still a scam.

  • Wow. You really haven't a clue.

  • You are the Chiropractic-advocate, and I don't have a clue? Yeah, if it happens to be opposite day. Moron.

  • Wow, that was clever.

  • Thanks, I know.

  • I went to a chiropractor one time only on a recommedation of a personal trainer, I immediately during this "treatment" that it was absolutely ridiclulous. I never went back despite their phone calls to me to come back for further "treatment" I believe the whole "profession" is total garbage. No one should go to a chiropractor. What kind of "science" is this anyway? I feel awful for Sandy and David, You are helping many people, past, present and future victims of these so called "doctors"

  • A bone specialist who was analyzing the cause of my chronic back pain asked me if I receive chiropractic care. When I said, "Yes", he looked very concerned and said, "Please don't let them adjust your neck, because that can cause a stroke. If you need the relief, let them adjust your spine, but NOT your neck." Stroke occurrence must be more common than we know, if that doctor cautioned me so earnestly against chiropractic treatment.

I wish you all the best with your law suit.

    - Sheree

  • And he would know how? How many hours do MD's have of chiropractic training? He heard a rumor, just like all these people, and gave reccomendations off it. If your story is even true. They have no clue what an adjustment is nor how many techniques are or can be used. Some that require no force at all. But ignorance is bliss.

  • Uhh your neck is part of your spine- its the cervical portion of your spine. This bone specialist doesnt sound like he's much of a specialist at all. And therefore i wouldnt take anything he said seriously.

By the way how is the lawsuit coming. I know it will fizzle out eventually... they all do, becuase there is no evidence that proves chiropractic directly causes strokes.

Its sad that when chiro's win the case again there will be no media coverage of the verdict.

  • I saw the story on CBC.

    This is absolutely horrific. Unimaginable.

But it is important to share this with the world.

    Thank you and God bless.
