Very rare clip including the Move's take on the auto-destruction pioneered by the Who. A very talented group that was overshadowed by ELO and Roy's glam period. Well worth rediscovering. More please!
Hey Everyone reading this!! im gonna bore you all!! BUT 1966-1968 WAS the best period for Pop/Rock music EVER!!! Now cmon just watch this clip.the music/haircuts & the rest! What more can i say! When 1967 came around 'normal lads grew there hair out,put flower power clothes on' what an amazing era! Just to tell you how sad i am i was born in 1975!! LOL! Great vid of the band,i would have loved to have seen them live at the time!
This is Bev Bevan's greatest drumming of all time. If the Move hadn't broken up into ELO, who knows what they could have accomplished as a rock band instead of a Jeff Lynne hit machine. If they had come to the US with this line-up and this show, there would be no ELO. People would have gone "The Who, forget them, the Move kicks ass. I'm a big ELO fan, but this video makes you wonder.
I never dreamed that footage like this survived. The Move was so unappreciated in the US...but of course I am a rabid fan. It is great to see footage of them messing around in the interview. Great illustration of their sense of humor and their irreverent attitude.
Long time Move fan, and this was FANTASTIC! So nice to see them getting along so well! However, someone must consider calling the Fire Brigade before the building starts to really burn!
Where the heck did you find this? This is amazing - five part harmony, comedy, Who type musical excitement, R&B, geez,, Roy, Trevor, Ace and Bev have got to see this ...

Good but the final performance is scary. I think of the tragedy in Rhode Island.

i don't think bands would be allowed that kind of destruction these days!
they certainly took it a step further than the Who...
historical footage...it'll be great to see more of their live act from the early days.
thanks!
