Regardless if the woman has committed a crime or not, I'm not sure I like the idea of two men wearing jeans and a coat hand cuffing a woman in the mall. They are not law enforcement officers and from what I have seen have not identified themselves as such.
ok coming from a security guard that works loss prevention this is obviously as previously stated in a earlier comment. crack head tries to steal something LP sees it happen she exits sears LP attempts to arrest her. instead of forcing her ass on the ground and cuff her by force and looking bad infront of 40 people or more they thought this would be a better idea. sadly people blow shit like this out of proportion. and no its not easy to hold down a single person even if theres two of you.
@BLAHSUPERMAN it must be different in America but as an X Special Constable in Australia I can say Security are hired to OBSERVE and hold NO rights to detain a civilian unless it is in extreme cases in which that security officer is taking full responsibility of their actions if the civilian presses charges for false imprisonment and in some cases assault when the guards get a little to excited. The only right they have is to follow and observe the suspect until police take over.
So here's the general jist of the story with this one as I understand it from my network of contacts in the business. Crackhead is in her 20's, she stole from a store and the loss prevention investigators saw it all happen, she resisted arrest and because they're trying to not use excessive force they ended up doing what they did, mall security came and helped. Problem is if the guys had been doing their jobs properly they wouldn't have had this much headache. it would have been in and out.
4 men and a women just to take down a teen girl? and why were they crushing her... cant one guy just take her by the arm to the surcurity office? i think they were to ruff with her.
this is an arrest and the general public has no fucking clue as to whats going on. shut up and go bak to wathcing your stupid CSI or police crap shows. the 2 undercover investigators are doing a poor job and is indicative of poor or little training.. fortunately uniformed security arrived and helped. this situation shold have been controlled within 30 seconds through the use of strikes...and yes, ive done it before myself.

What the hell did she do?
Looked like those 2 first guys were trying to sexually assault her.

@sXeCanadianBoy
yeah, you're right, two security guys decided to sexually assault a random girl in the middle of the mall during business hours. You got it, genius.
