  • what is her name i want to see her profile??!!!

  • @nativeonereyna15

    try this link youtube.com/user/powwowsdancers

  • this white serpent thinks the catholic church is behind this

    they are your real anemy...

  • powwowsdancers

This user has videos of that Val Roig dancing.

  • she doesnt have that powwow rhythym anyways!!!!

  • ...Why was she able to dance if everyone knows her scams?

  • @TakiZ because derek mathews took her contest registration money. that is why she was able to dance.

  • @quicksilverwade dang... i guess everything is all about money..... Thats a shame....

  • @quicksilverwade WTF? Thats crazy? I guess its true, that money is the root of all evil. Just sad....

  • My goodness i dislike that it happens all over it makes me mad!!!!!

  • did u guys know that that french woman got 1st at a powwow i was at just cuz she was french ?!! and they also introduced em to us.. but barley anybody clapped for em haha

  • @tetebabe08 That DISGUSTS me! How dare people let somebody that's not even Native American place in the first place. Native Pride man, Native Pride.. Idc if it was somebody Navajo dancing Ojibwe style of dance, at least they're NATIVE and understand the strifes we go through as Native people.. not some European who's probably always had it made.

  • Oh, and that French Jingle Dress dancer everyone keeps talking about won a few powwows here in OK too. How disgraceful is that!! I'm appalled by my own people letting this sorry excuse of a "dancer" even place.

  • Hobbyists need to find another hobby and quit making a mockery of our culture. Go learn and be proud of your own culture and stop ripping off somebody else's traditions and ways. Oh yeah, and isn't there going to be stricter penalties for white people that rip off Native American artistry?!

  • So.. I went n seen her facebook page and she literally beads, sews, and dances. her whole family, who is non-native, dresses up and performs making a profit off of our culture... which she poorly represents.. what i dont get is why her and her family see fit that they mimic our culture to make money.. If I could I would ban her and her families business from every 'performing' again. they had a showing where they dropped an eagle feather and exhibitioned how to pick it up

  • @native4584 Thats just wrong! I hate how some Natives try to support her & those hobbyists too. Neither she or the hobbyists know anything about our culture. Those Natives that support them, don't know anything about their culture, either. Cause if they did, then they wouldn't be supporting a bunch of facades, that are set out to mock our/their culture! I don't care if its for profit or not. Its just wrong.

  • @native4584 - I thought that it was a requirement to be enrolled in a BIA recognized tribe in order to compete in the dances. Some tribes only require one ancestor on the 1920 Dawe's census. Lots of "white" and "black" girls dance in Pow-Wows across the U.S.

  • I agree with @runningbearsr

  • Same here! I cant stand how they tried to get rid of us and now their trying to be like us!!!! It pisses me off but then again I laugh in their faces! lmao Dakota&Lakota Pride for Life!!!!

  • I hate white people who try to be natives.

  • soo... she sells our medicine dance to make money and promote a culture she poorly represents.. why?!....

  • Omg I saw her there! LOL Silly

  • I'm not here to judge! I don't make a judgment but no one answered my question was: how people who are not from this continent can participate in a sacred and spiritual contest, and also on a medicine dance.

  • @uapikuniss valerie roig chose to contest in oklahoma. she did not receive any blessings from anyone. she is a hypocrite and a liar. she charges 200 euros for 30 min of dancing or 300 euros for two 30 min sessions.

  • from her site: The question that a lot of people, Native American or not, will ask is why the French, whose history is full of several centuries, there are dances from the Native American Indians?

Even if we are not Native, Passion for people and for its dances, we hope above all that this culture and these traditions are perpetuated and represented at best, With a population of non-insiders, which most of the time, believe that Native Americans exist only in books.

  • valerie roig is her name, her site is pow wow dreams

  • french?! wtf? you mean she's charging people to pay her to act like an indian?!

  • haha, i thought that was her too!

  • the french dancer appears at 0:33 seconds in the puke green beadwork. check out her turkey fan.

  • this french dancer charges money for cultural demonstrations in france. she doesn't know how to dance, she is sloppy, she is not dancing from right to left or left to right. she is pitiful and needs to be slapped in the face.

  • I'm surprised ! euh...

the french peoples have the right to participate in the competition?

  • saaay waaat?.. it was outside this year?.. wtfrenchtoast?.. lol.. i like the tipis tho!.. sikwitit!..
