  • Most underrated artist ever!

  • He showcases the "sweet" tone of his voice in this performance. He could have

performed this raw. the subject and content would lead one to that direction. But he does this one on the sweet, pleading side. I like it this way......

  • i love this song,,,

  • half of these views are probably from me... no joke

  • @arodgreen The other half is from me :)

  • amazing !

    I love his material !

  • im 13 and this is one of my favourite songs

  • It's very tempting and sexy ... a girl who is a bad influence. LOL

    Subtext baby!

  • God damn, I'm so happy I found this guy.

  • HEY, i didnt cry, tears are for suckas

  • what a voice..no one can listen without couple of tears

  • will he be coming to Toronto?....this is my favorite song. Been following Cray and would like to get me and my old man tickets.

  • soooo great !

  • Dude's voice is smooth as silk...

    XX

  • Songs from the soul can never be duplicated. He is an outstanding example of this.

  • sexy and Asian women Meet lushfmlk.info

  • amazing artist

  • Saw RC back in the 1980s when he first began hitting it big, and he was a wonderful performer and a talented blues and R&B singer, bandleader and guitarist. His best work was on the Hightone label, followed by his work on Mercury. Is Rober touring these days, and if so where? Would love to see him perform again.

  • @GeorgiaBoy1961 Yes he is touring. I saw him last year at a blues festival. Still puts on an excellent show! The crowd cheered for an encore and he kindly obliged with three more songs! Check out his website.

  • 4 people are bad influences.

  • @rasfer tit

  • he is one of the best blues players alive >w< i wish kids stop with the pop and stuff and start learning the true music :D

  • I love the video for his facial expressions almost as much as the song itself.

  • how does he write such amazing blues songs that are anything but 12 bar!

  • awesome singer i love robet cray is music is so good

  • I like too much this bluesman, his music is so full of emotions!

  • damn love this man.. could listen all night and all day long!! extremely talented! what ashame talent now goes by the wayside while crap and selling crap goes to the mainstream, shows what mentality the youth has gone to.. oops did I say that.. fight me on that and you'll loose, cause up the road yo will agree.. I'll wait.. lol

  • classic misogynistic masterpiece

  • This is just the real Robert Cray blues.

Blues because a lot of us identify with these lyrics!

  • the best

  • great vid!!

  • keeef66, fuck you. Trying to sound smart.... puuuullllease

  • Bad influence baby... baby

  • love this music, digs deep inside your soul.

  • I've seen Robert Live 3 times in Glasgow,he IS the real deal !He is an incredible singer/guitarist...and song writer! Of the 3 performances,I would say the Glasgow Barrowland was the best......standing 1mtr away from his bare feet !! LOL

  • love this traCK MEAn maori mEAN

  • This bass player is just dire. That lick at 2:44 is just pitiful; no touch whatsoever. Going to see Robert tonight for the first time in more than 20 year, and I'm thrilled to hear Richard Cousins is back in the line-up. Sweet!

  • @keeef66 What's wrong with that lick? Basic major pentatonic lick with an interesting rhythm change. Just the kind of lick bass player should put here and there to make the whole band´s rhythm sound "less basic" and groovier.

  • My absolute favorite Cray song. I'm that jerk in the audience screaming "BAD INFLUENCE!!!" I've seen him 5 times and he's never let me down. ;-)

  • 1 word...class!

  • im young and i lisen to this i love my im 13 btw my dad listens to this music and others like cameo and others im just hooked i love this music

  • @arodgreen dude, i just turned 14 and i have seen him in concert and i LOVE his music bro. HE IS SO GOOD MAN!:)

  • Your dad's pretty cool if he listens to Cameo. He got you raised just right!

    ;-)

  • R.C & Band We love you~~~from. s,korea.

  • I've seen him many times and think he's a great performer. Best memory was him doing an encore song by Percy Sledge ("Try a Little Tenderness") which was mind-blowing. He's very talented.

  • Try A Little Tenderness is actually a song from the 1930's. Otis Redding did a great R&B version of it in in the 1960's that may be the version you're thinking of. I have to agree, though - Robert Cray is a great singer, a great songwriter, and a wonderful guitarist who exhibits great tastefulness. I wish more modern day "blues" guitarists played with his taste and restraint! I'm tired of hearing what sounds to me like overplaying.

  • anyone ever hear "shiver all over", I think that's the title. wish someone would post that one. it's awesome.

  • he's such a great player!!!

  • Robert Cray is so awesome. Not only his singing and picking but his song writting really kicks ass?

  • robert cray = pure talent

  • I never get tired of this guy, great music, great guitar playing

  • Second coming of Sam Cooke. Damn great singer.

  • Simply The BEST !! =]

  • he is an awesome singer

  • and guitar player.

  • Saw Him when he supported Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall, genius, great voice and guitar, SUPERB !!

  • You need to see Cray live. The albums do not do justice to what he can do with a crowd when he is on the mark.

I first saw him and his band in Eureka, CA in the late 70s or early 80s. This is a band that I will travel 200 miles to see live.

I may not get the best show depending on where in the tour they are but I will still keep going.

  • haven't seen him live (except for TV) but i still think the Live From Across the Pond CD is great, absolutely great

  • I totally agree...I was lucky enough to live in Eugene, Oregon when he started in the early 70's. Saw him dozens of time in small venues. I agree, Robert is great on C.D. but LIVE is the only way that you get the full impact of this man's amazing talent. I never get tired of his music!

  • I saw Robert Cray dozens of times when he first started playing in Eugene, Oregon. He is a class act and now I realize just what a privelege it was to see him live. If you get the chance to see him live-GO- you will be amzed at his talent not only in singing, guitar playing but also as a songwriter, What a talent!

  • my sausage gets bigger when i listen to this

  • Shama-lama-ding-dong to you earlier commentators. Got to see Cray Live, sound is crystal clear and amazing typically. You will want to go again and again. Nice guy.

  • i love this tune!

  • Can someone make a video of i wonder by Robert Cray?

  • Also my favorite Robert Cray song. I love young Bob!

  • first time to hear him playing, he is awesome :D

  • I could listen to Robert Cray all day. It never gets boring, I love him.

  • the best... and loved him in "Animal House".

  • Now there's some trivia you never hear. Hats off to you.

  • Yeah, he's playing bass with "Otis Day and the Nights". "You Know You Make Me Want To Shout"! "Otis loves us!". "Can we dance wit your dates?"

  • as unique as he is on guitar- and stunningly, a voice that could stand tall with sam cooke and otis redding. Cray really has it all.

  • is there a better guitar playing vocalist out there????

  • :D ofc, NO ! This is... something best I've ever heard.

  • he is in a league of his own, i would say john mayer might be a contender in years to come but for now cray is king

  • Cray is Awesome,

    you Heard SRV?

    Johnny Lang?

They come in a similar league.

    :)

  • He is coming to the local Bingo Indian Gaming place near Fresno...loved this song when it came out...AND STILL LOVE IT!!

  • Is that the gig at Table Mountain in April?

  • YES THATS THE ONE...

  • Saw him @ Camden Palace, a million yrs ago :O)

  • Saw him March 21st at a small venue.. converted movie house here on Eastern Long Island.....An awesome show and he was as good as ever....Robert Cousins was on bass.

  • I've seen him live, he is great.

  • robert cray is the boss.

  • Thanks for sharing this beautiful song!

  • surely one of the best blues men around,,sometimes i think he is highly under rated,ALOT of these men dont get the credit they deserve.

  • Right!!!!

  • Super

  • top

  • Que pedazo de canción!

  • Why are we so drawn to bad influences?

  • I guess it's like the sign "Keep Off Grass" Your gonna go play on the grass right, rebelling! If someone tells you your not allowed to do that or a certain something, it's going to be all the more appealing... Maybe I'm wrong...

  • KIAORA EHOA

    ONE MAGIC OLE SKOOL NUMBA

  • i really like that kind of music, it's just so smooth and you'll nearly always find a story in one track...

    and robert cray's simply great...

  • agree. everything by him ,there seems to be minimal effort ? how he does it , i dont know ??

  • Just amazing!! Robert Cray is a legend!!!! I just wished that this song was complete, but still being a great great song, a love it! Robert Cray!!!!!
