He got shot in 1976 two days before the Jamaica Smile Concert,but it is true that he did perform at that concert, even though he had been shot. He then moved to England for two years. In this concert, 1978, he managed to get the two leaders of the two rivaling parties in Jamaica up on stage to shake hands with each other. It was truly amazing.
