Anybody here to explain that phenomenon? Doesn't seem to be very healthy to do breath-holding after exhaling (deeply)...
When I once did this on the bottom of a 3.5 metres deep pool (in lotus pose), after one minute several kids were hovering over me to see, if I needed to be rescued. Finding the surface above me completely covered with curious people, I had no choice but to stay another 45 seconds -- my personal record so far. Meanwhile I managed to sit underwater for 2 minutes after exhaling.
I have a hard time staying under the water let alone holding my breath for a minute. Good job!
