  • I want to do that so bad

    so you didi black??

  • wow wow this is awesome.

  • I am in the same state im turning 28 and i have always love aircraft and i wanted to fly i am that person who wishes i could get the oppertunity to get the chance in a life time to fly with the blue angels!

  • lol most of the time they say, ready to go flying?

  • Well deserved, and a nice movie you made. I am not from the states but have a passion for airplanes. I remember flying the few first MS flight sims on my dads 80x86 pc when i was like 10 years old, and always wondered why they chose meigs field as the starting location. I literally grew up flying at that location, when kids where going out in the neighbourhoods to play soccer i was flying the MS sim. After all those years i was really gutted to see it removed from the sim...

  • Amazing ...

    Bravo Bravo Bravo and Bravo

  • 9:07 looks like he really wanted a hug ^.^

  • Ahhhh Dunkleberger yessss mmmmm...

  • hey please respond how did you get to fly with them?????

  • Oh my...Smoke on baby! Love it. I saw Blues when I was younger in 1965 or so. The XB-17 Bomber was there with them, my mom had a picture of her taken with the jets. The X-17 Captain was her friend and crashed a week later. This is my dream moment every time I see their PERFECTIONISM.

  • Mate im an Aussie and i would love a ride in an F18 Hornet.I would pay a Shit load of Money too if that was an option, but its very rare that the average person can get a ride in one of those Jets. What a great video this is,im so happy for that guy who got a ride.

  • That is a awesome video packed full of emotion! Great job Brian...

  • What a great Video!

  • Live the Dream. Brilliant!

  • Thanks for allowing us to accompany you on this magical flight. I too love aviation. Even now watching the old High Flight films with the F104 and T38 will make me tear up. Thank you, my brother of a feather.

  • i got to see the blue angels in the A4 SKYHAWK, twice before they switched to the F18 hornet. that was a great video.

  • Great Vid!! Glad to see someone as passionate as me to be able to fly with the Blue Angels. I just recently joined the Navy because of the impact the Blue Angels have on my life. I ship out Jan 25, 2010 as an AS. Can't wait!

  • i love this film . i dreamed of being a pilot in the airforce but some how things didn't work out the way i hoped for. there always commercial .

  • Awesome your my hero !!!!!

  • One Six Right was an amazing documentary, thank you for bringing the story to the world Brian. You deserved the ride!

  • blue angels rock

  • i seriously shed a tear..really..i got the goose bumps while watching this...i have the same dream.

  • Great. I really enjoyed watching this ordinary guy. He had a dream and it finally

    came true. It was fantastic

  • i said that same thing :|

  • @marilynekay Yes it was.

  • Too bad I do't think I can be a pilot! I'm color blinded with some shades of red and green. Though I heard you can be a private pilot! Is this true?

  • Yea you can be a private pilot, but you can't be a military pilot.

  • Cool! haha I don't mind as long as I get to fly.

  • Yea my cousin is totally color blind and he's a civilian pilot.

  • Really?! Sweet! Thanks! I flew a plane once (counted s my first lesson), but wasn't sure if I would be able to go far enough to get a license! OK cool!

  • That was incredible! I'm glad to see someone such as yourself get the opportunity to have an experience like this. I have also been a Blue Angels fan most of my life like yourself, so I can just only imagine how you felt during this once in a lifetime adventure. Well I just wanted to let you know how lucky you are and to say congratulations. Love the video!

    BT

  • I am so happy that a dream you had was fulfilled. You totally deserver it after your work with "one six right".

  • Very wonderful friend (=

    5/5*****

  • Brian, great work as usual. I hope the new project is coming along. Here's to a great 2010!

  • oh man what I would give to ride with one of these pilots!

  • I like the ending to. Great video. You're one lucky man.

  • Awesome!

  • I had a chance to fly in a Canadian F18 Hornet back in 1996. I was on the Canadian Forces Parachute Team and became friends with the hornet driver that also toured the airshow circuit. I will never forget my flight...thrill of a lifetime!! Great film brother....

  • Where does one go to start the process of flying in one of those jets? So awesome

  • you are one lucky man

  • The pilot sounds so damn cooled and chilled

  • To take a ride with the Angels is about $15,000 US

  • How much does it cost to fly the Blue Angels ? I"ll figure I ask this , since I just broke my piggy bank.

I'm for real about how much..... Anyone knows ?

  • You dont pay to ride with them, the Navy invites you to ride with them. In other words, you have to be someone in this world.

  • Dude you are lucky , I wish that I can get a ride on any fighter plane.

  • ya me to, i have been facinated by planes my whole life and now as a freshmen in high school i already working may way towards gliders solo i am very exited i have about 7 more lessons before i get my pilots solo i have been fling 1/4 scale rc planes at the nationals for 3 years and getting 3rds and 4ths this vid was awsome!!!!!!

  • no matter what anyone says i will become a fighter pilot. my extreme passion for aviation will lead me there. I know all the complications that come along with trying to get a flight slot, but I know that if I want this bad enough, I can get it. I am willing to do anything.

I feel like i'm the only kid in my high school who looks up in amazement whenever a plane flys overhead, and im proud of it. I've realized my extreme passion, most kids havent.

  • thats sooo awesome... im the same way .. wen i hear a jet i RUN to the window and just gaze at the jets... its my passion not to ebe a pilot but to see it up close to just expirirence it one time would eb aweosme

  • oh yeah one more thing .. good luck with ur dream... u an do anything u put ur heart into so i have faith in anyone who wants somethign as bad as u seam to want this... just dont have asthma and ull be fine xD

  • I feel the same way. The are B-52s that fly over my house all the time from Minot, my parents think I'm weird for sitting outside and watching them.

  • I'm from minot!!

  • What do you do there?

  • I moved away for college, I live in Illinois now, but I was born there and grew up there. how about you?

  • I live in Indiana.

  • Just remember you can do anything you want to....the only regret you will have is if you don't try...That "kid" you feel like when you look up is just what all who love aviation feel like when they hear or see a plane...Good luck my friend...

  • @kingneptune117 i agree fully with this comment i to love aviation sense i was little flying 10 times on commercial planes scared shit less on the first take off but was epic back in the day

  • great stuff dude

  • Wow that was amazing, this is my dream to have happen one day...everytime I go to an airshow and see these guys fly I realize how boring my day to day life is :(....Its awesome they let you fly the jet, did a good job at :D..thanks for the video, not everyday you get to see a "normal" American get to take a ride with the Angels.

  • That was a fantastic video... thank you for sharing, Sir.

  • couldnt happen to a better person. its very rare for someone who is not an actor or athlete to get a ride. for once im not hating on someone who got a ride, happy for him, fly on!!

  • Brian,

Thanks for sharing your inspirational video. Dreams can come true to those who have the desire and the faith. There are many young minds that have the same dream, may they have the same opportunity.

  • how can i fly with them its beeen a dream for me too man i wish i could anyone know how i could get a ride with them

  • good for you brian, see u in the skies

  • Thanks Brian,

Your story is an emotional one for me..They're based where I live and I see them quite often. I have deep admiration for the Blue Angels. To me, they represent freedom, courage, honor and pride..as does all our military. I envy you tremendously yet somehow feel your story put me in the air with the two of you. God bless you, our troops and our country! Thanks again...

    Thomas

  • Brian,

What an opportunity. I have been an aviator for over 20 years and appreciate your story.

A wonderful story and congrats to an amazing opportunity....I must admit I am a little jealous.

  • balls and weiners

  • lucky guy. my dad was a t-37 pilot .but i v never ..

  • Good for him. One Six Right was really an epic film that I enjoy every time I watch it.

  • That.... was a just amazing, i'm so glad that he finally got his dream. And what a dream it is!!

    Flying with the BLUE ANGELS

  • ohhh just amazing

  • that is great that he got to do his dream, but i dont get why he just didnt join the navy and do it for a career. thats what i plan on doing. i cant think of any better jobs than flying one of these

  • unfortunately not everybody can meet the requirements for being a military pilot, my dream since i was little was to be a fighter pilot but unfortunately my eye sight isn't good enough and i have hereditary knee trouble so i cant, it could be the case for him also

  • Beautiful! i like it!

  • man he is wonderful nice story. See! Freams Do Come True. Just Dont Expected it

  • Awesome story. Great work.

    Go Navy!

  • how do you get to fly with them?

  • P.S. The name Skymatchu comes from my former skydive Instructor ( Approx 10 years ago.) Until a recent Skydive related injury I was a full time skydive tandem master and A.F.F. Jumpmaster.

  • As a foreign (New Zealand) Civi.. How do I get the honour of being a jump seat jockey with these guys ????

  • Comment removed

  • wow, awesome!

  • I had the honor of getting to meet the 2009 team on 2 different occasions this year, one of which when they came out to surprise a small group of us at El Centro. The awesome thing is they were just as excited about doing it as we were to see them. Getting to talk to them 1 on 1 outside of an airshow crowd was really awesome... these guys are class acts all the way around. Im glad Brian got to go on his flight. I can only imagine what an incredible life changing experience it must have been.

  • Just to continue because I ran out of space, Frank Weisser is now 6 and it was awesome getting to talk to him and Nate Miller (5). Great guys, all of them.

  • man u stuck with ur dream i want to be a commericial pilot i am 13 years old and u have convinced me to stick with my dream of begin a pilot great job man :)

  • That is the American spirit going full circle !

  • The pilot could easily pass out too couldn't he?

  • He's intensively trained and checked to make sure that there is as litttle chance as possible of him G-LOCing

  • He let him take the stick!? Now that is awesome. I really loved One Six Right and Mr. Terwilliger certainly deserves the privilege of getting to fly with the Blue Angels.

  • Brian - This couldn't have happened to a more deserving and grateful person. The deep love and respect comes through so clearly in this film. Congratulations and well done!

  • LOVE the way you have put this video together! And am so glad to hear of others' same passions as mine as it validates it. Sometimes I feel like a freak with all the Blue Angels/Navy memorabilia I have accumulated, so I don't feel so alone now! :)

  • This video brought tears to my eyes. I remember seeing the Blue Angels for the first time 14 years ago when I was 10. What an inspiration.

  • Congratulations to Brian thats truly awesome you flying with the Blue Angels and fulfilling a childhood dream. One great story in a world full of negative ones.

  • That is truly an amazing and emotional video. It inspires everyone with any dream to never give up and someday they might be as lucky as you were and make the dream come true. Fantastic video !

  • absolutely awesome. thanks for sharing this experience!

  • This was an outstanding video. I would love to have an opportunity to fly with these guys. I've followed them to a few air shows in my lifetime and stand in amazement at every one.

  • nah i like the thunderbirds but the lue angels are good to

  • Wait there's controls in the back seat? and you got a chance to fly the jet a bit? WOW!

  • you are one lucky guy! i remember when the f-18 first got deployed i was a ABE on board the Coral Sea i so wanted to be able to be in that rear it has been 20 or so years but i still to this day miss it and still would love to be in that rear seat if just for one moment

  • 5/5 man thats my dreamm to be flying like that

  • That was really great Brian thank you Buddy!

  • Great video! I met Lt. Weisser at the Peoria Air Show. We bought my 2 year old son a blue angels flight suit and all of the pilots signed it. The flight crew told the crowd that Lt. Weisser could only sign one more autograph, and as they said that he signed the person in front of me and my son. I asked him, "Could you sign my son's flight suit?" He looked me in the eye and said "I would be honored to sign his suit." It made my day and will be a lasting memory for my son.
