Eminem was a dick for dissing Vanilla Ice. With regard to the rap style of the early 90s, Vanilla Ice actually did it very well - though it would sound wierd by the style of today's rap (but then so too would Ice Cube, Ice T, Will Smith, etc if they were to go up against say Lil Wayne today). Plus Vanilla Ice was handsome and an icon for that short while. Eminem is talented too but he wasn't the definitive rapper of his era whereas V.I was in his own era!
