I remember being told to forget about sommies and the like because I was 6', glad to see your skills in handbalancing proving everyone wrong. Might be more difficult but you're the solidest person I know at it, excellent control. I've gone off course with planche training since a bad chest/shoulder injury a few months ago, still not fully recovered but we'll get there. Ever try windmills or flares from breakdancing? Some great core workout and bodyweight exercise with them.
@JustAnotherPuppet Hey Cilien! Long time no speak man, how have you been? Thanks a lot for the kind words mate, it means a lot. RE: other stuff, I've certainly thought about it. I'd love to be able to do circles on a mushroom or pommel but I don't have access to anything and I def can't wrap my head around doing flares on floor first lol it seems crazy difficult. How about you? you tried them? Any tips?
@baneparkour Yeah not too bad, been concentrating hugely on tumbling moves, standing fulltwist on grass is the latest. I was working towards flares but my shoulders has set me back, wear socks and keep your legs straight and together on a tiled/wooden/slippy floor and get momentum up with them tmoving around you in a large circle like on a mushroom but leaning on the floor. Gets your muscles and your mind ready for the momentum and feeling, you can then move to straddled, good way 2 get into it!
@urbanprogression Thank you. Yes, working hard on core/lower back. I was well warmed up from an outdoor session which helped a lot. Onwards and upwards eh!
@BranniganParkour Hey Thanks man. I've been handbalancing for around 6 years I think. Planche training for over 2 now. I progress slowly, but it's great when you can actually see and feel an improvement.
WOW! You are ridiculously strong. That's absolutely amazing the way you are able to balance like that. Amazing work! Keep it up! :)
