Hi Andy, I noticed you had some fibre in the kiln, dose it save electricity? How much was your workshop costing to set up? I have built a studio but the birds keep coming into it. . If you ever want to come to Tasmania I live near cradle mountains and would love you to see my area.
Yes, thank you very much. I also am just starting with this and your video is the clearest, most easy to understand and concise one I've seen on Youtube.
So many people assume that their viewers know as much as they do and skimp on the details. They seem to forget that most of the people looking at it will be people who don't know and want to learn. If I had a nickel for every video that used at least a half dozen terms I had to look up, I would indeed be a rich man!
Very nice, quick question, the glass on the stands in the right hand corner of your studio. Do you have some kind of light behind them? If so, could you share where you purchased them?
Very informative video! Your also a good teacher! I wish you can be my teacher! I'm thinking of getting a kiln in near future I have taken a few classes and I'm ready to dive into this art!
This was so thorough and informative! I really appreciate all the helpful advice you give in this video. I'm considering starting to work with kiln formed, or slumped glass and this has really helped outline the process for me. =)

Hi Randy
Very informative video. Can i ask you how i can avoid picking up texture from my molds. I am using stainless steel half pipe and S curve molds.
I have been ramping up at full to 1130F for aprox 2hrs.
Can you suggest a slower program?

You really should do a formal instruction series. I learned more in your 7:06 than in hours of digging on-line. Many thanks.
(I have this urge to go buy a kiln, NOW)
