  • I love how the bass is so high in the mix. It really should be like that for everything.

  • Baroness....what a fucking hype.

  • Baroness were NOTHING while this guy (Caleb) was spitting talent at Cave In(Until your heart stops, anyone?) and Old Man Gloom. And "Harmonic Tremors" is from 2007, same year as "Red Album", the first Baroness serious work.

  • @amapolas first and second are amazing... you douche

  • This reminds me of Torche. Don't like the screams, but the riffage and the soundscape is p. great.

  • @Senapskaptenen I get what you mean, too bad this is their only song like this.

  • really like this song. Almost has a desert rock / stoner metal feel to it, with the way it dips off in the end like the song is about to be over and then picks up again.

  • Caleb from Cave In... one of the best hardcore voices of all time in my book. So glad he did this Zozobra stuff.

  • thanks for sharing this awesome song. people are trying too hard to categorize this. it doesnt matter, it rocks.

  • you guys are delusional this sounds like it has major torche influence

  • Hydra Head !

  • so this type of music is called sludge metal?...

    like intronaut?

  • @8thstreetdropsoulja More sludge than intronaut is. Intronaut tends more towards a sort of sludge/prog metal fusion.

  • reminds me if baroness and torche got together. Never heard of these guys til today and just bought this cd.

  • I saw these guys live in Ottawa in March of 2008... Fricken LOUD!!! Loudest band I've ever seen probably. A lot of people were sticking their fingers in their ears. loooool! Good show. Isis was headlining, so it was of course an epic night.

  • Its funny because I got into an argument with someone about just that subject on another video. I think Baroness and Zozobra are just about as similar as two bands can be. But they kept insisting they were wildly different.

  • i love this band.

  • Comparing Baroness to Zozobra seems like a stretch to me. Never the less, both are insanely good.

Glad to see you called both band sludge Cheesepuffs. That genre fits both bands perfectly if you ask me and is what I would have called both of them.

  • Reminds me of Baroness.

  • Baroness rocks... they are both sludge but I still think they have really unique sounds, though

  • @Furoyu it's a good combo of the old Cave In and isis dudes

  • Gotta love it
