@CushiticSomalianMale True. Much more emphasis has been laid on certain peoples, and the extremely ancient wisdom carried by the Khoisan and Twa gets little attention. I have found it difficult to track down information on entire countries such as Somalia and Libya, so little is published about them. Lately I've been finding some of the rock art masterpieces of the Libyans, not so well known as those of the Tassili-n-Ajjer. They're all over the Sahara, some very ancient.

There's also Queen Amina of Zaria or ZauZau (Hausa, northern Nigeria), Amanitore of Sudan, Makeda of Ethiopia, Harinda BaRozwe of Zimbabwe, Dahia al-Kahina of Tunisia, Muhumusa of Rwanda (she's part of the Nyabinghi line, so of course Queen Nyabinghi herself too), the Yoruba queen Oluwo and so many others.
