horses are not going to jump or do any sports if they do't want to. western is abuse because they are using force but us english riders don't force them. if we forced our horses or anything looked abusive it gets reported immeaditly. in racing when the jockey comes off the horse keeps running. if they don't want to race they ain't gonna. understand it before you put up videos tthat riding is basiclly abuse. but i do agree in some ways.
i wish someone from horse welfare could become prime minister, president or king or queen or whatever your country has because then this would be stopped...

very effective video, some of the photos are awful :s really affected me. My horses live out 24/7 and we spend a lot of time with them in the field and just riding around in headcollars. We do do some low level competing and riding but our horses are happy horses :)

Horses know they can remain alive/some what unpunished if they obey. We do kill their soul. When you put any type of restraint on your horse or confine him to you by use of small enclosures, you have taken away his freedom. He didn't ask to be a pet and he certainly didn't ask to be a slave. As an American, I can appreciate what freedom truly means.

However, I do not think showing and riding is cruel. I would rather be a horse owned by a loving owner keeping it warm, dry, fed, watered, safe in exchange for around an hour's work a day than a wild horse. Wild horses must avoid predators, find food and survive - they don't have us putting rugs on when they are cold or spray to get rid of flies and tending to the smallest injury.

umm i see wat ur sayingand yes most of wat u said is true but me and friends take our ponies to competions and they enjoy it, my pony loves to jump ( unless its really hot) but he's really slow so i dont make him go fast, my friends pony loves to go fsat and to jump so she wont hold her back even if it means she will not some of the jumps down and another friends will jump anything and has the nicest jump ever but shes not gonna make her do massive classes unless she ready her self, xx
@missponyluver11 Yes i know that it is just once an a show me and my friend once saw that a horse did not clear the jumps and the lady took her horse in to the stable and whiped it over the face like 4 times my friend and me reported this to this man and it has changen my vews now about the sport but saying that i love to jump my horse and that stuff i dont have a problem with the jumps it is the huge jumps that you see that are as big as the horses or bigger :) :)
