  • Thanks for helping with something that has eluded me up until now as I was unable to pause and work through it at the pace I needed rather than in the traditional classroom environment.

  • Tú tienes el nombre de mi maestro.

  • thank you so much! i have had the same teacher for the last 2 years and the only way he teaches is from kids games. I need lessons like this.

  • You guys know more about grammar in spanish than I do. Lol I was raised speaking spanish.

  • Top lesson.

  • Can miramos also be vemos of the verb "ver " ? Because I thought that mirar is more used when watching over a distance or around tyou but when it comes to movies that you use ver, or am I mistaken and both can be used ?

  • Ese video me ayudo muchisimo! Muchas gracias.

  • WOW you are sooooo good at explaining.... its a gift :)

  • Ir+A+INFINITIVE ?? NEED help!!!!! plsss !

  • thank you . u r better than my Spanish teacher

"¿Quién mira las películas?" no significa "Who watches the movies?" porque el verbo mirar significa "to look for" en inglés, no "to watch." Esta frase significa "Who looks for the movies?"

  • @languagenow I agree with you. That is not a mistake at all. Amazing work Jason. Very clear and to the point.

  • @languagenow you just owned him

  • you don't talk about situation where you can say for example "quieren visitarlos" where los goes at the end of the word...this is very confusing for me when to use this

  • Thank you this really helped me for my test!!

  • Thank you for sharing your knowledge! It's so much easier to hear you speak and explain these hard subjects than to try to read a book on one's own and derive the same level of understanding.

  • Super-helpful video.

This was very, very convenient, informative and helpful.

  • This video was so helpful! thanks so much!

  • Thank you so much for your posts, we watch them all the time in our Spanish class!

  • I guess this does not apply to all phrases..? For example, Nosotros asistimos a la reunion, the answer to quien ..?? is just nosotros, so we do not use any direct object pronoun. So, how do you know when to use it?

    Thanks for help

  • That is because a direct object pronoun can only replace a direct object. In your example "nosotros" is a subject (a subject pronoun in fact)... If someone asks: quién asiste el video? You could respond: nosotros LO asistimos (video is the d.o.)

  • Thank you very much...difficult to understand though.

    Thanks

  • No, that is because here,2 La reunión" is not a direct object it is a circunstancial complemente of place (complemento circunstancial de lugar). Where did you assist? To the reunion. It has nothing to be with the direct object.

  • thanks so much lol

  • Watch the accent marks in your interrogative "quien" words.

  • Tienes el bilette a Juan?

    Si se lo tengo

    Just experimenting! Thanks take acre

  • Muchas gracious :-) God Bless :-)

Do you an online forum, where we could post questions or attempts at to construct sentences?

  • Hi Prof. Jason thank 4 posting the videos! They are so helpful. Could you please examine my application of the concept to determine if it is correct?

" tienes los billetes , si los tengo "

  • 100% correct

  • dude u make it easy thank u

  • i love you man

  • Thank you! You should receive an award or something for posting these lessons!

  • this video has been so helpful. you have helped me with my homework!

    thank you so much!

    alyssa

  • Professor Jason, I appreciate the posting! IT helps a lot thank you very much. It's one thing when you have the text on a book but it's another thing when you have a video/person explaining it as you have in this video. Thank you!!!

  • I finally got it~! thank you very much!!!

  • thanks a lot. these are wonderful.

  • An awesome lesson as usual. My god, you are good. If every teacher in the world ( does not matter what they are teaching ) was like you everyone would be a genius.

I had a few good teachers when i was at school, but two of them were awesome. Awesome in exactly the way you are awesome. A really good teacher does make a difference and will never be forgotten. An awesome teacher ( as i always said) not only does the teaching but also does the learning for the student.

  • muchas gracias, H1P2S!

  • Suggestion, as a Spanish newbie.. Can you in each video teach a new verb and conj. I know time is short, but maybe you can slip it in real quick.

  • jason muchas gracias para el white board..

    saludos tony(uk)

  • That is a good simple explanation about D.O. Pronouns. I never knew what they were until now.

  • Brazilians usually don´t like "lo, la, lo, las, le, les, se, te, me" when we try to learn Spanish :)

  • Oi amigo Márcio. Yeah, this pronoun usage is tricky if you speak Brazilian portuguese where you would prefer to say, por exemplo, Ela mandou os livros pro José... However in European Portuguese they still might say (or at least write) Ela lhos mandou, né? Crazy!!

  • This was a very helpful video. I always catch something from these videos that seem to be lacking in my spanish class. I think you did a GREAT job here!!!!!!!

    THANK YOU!! :)

  • I really like the white board. It helps a lot. Thanks for doing this video. It definitely helps clear things up.
