Thanks for helping with something that has eluded me up until now as I was unable to pause and work through it at the pace I needed rather than in the traditional classroom environment.
You teach at Missouri State? You wouldn't be familiar with the school greenwood would you? its on the MSU campus but thanks for the help... spanish quiz tomorrow:p
Can miramos also be vemos of the verb "ver " ? Because I thought that mirar is more used when watching over a distance or around tyou but when it comes to movies that you use ver, or am I mistaken and both can be used ?
Ese video me ayudo muchisimo! Muchas gracias.
"¿Quién mira las películas?" no significa "Who watches the movies?" porque el verbo mirar significa "to look for" en inglés, no "to watch." Esta frase significa "Who looks for the movies?"
you don't talk about situation where you can say for example "quieren visitarlos" where los goes at the end of the word...this is very confusing for me when to use this
Soon, I will be posting spanish, french and german lessons, going from basics to the slightly harder stuff! I am not quite fluent in them but what I teach, I will be positive that I know it is right!
Please check it out - 1st video which will be spanish should be up within a week! Thanks people! My channel is - MrLanguageLessons
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! It's so much easier to hear you speak and explain these hard subjects than to try to read a book on one's own and derive the same level of understanding.

Gracias por todo su ayuda! Estoy un estudiante de periodismo en la Universidad de Missouri-Columbia. This was very, very convenient, informative and helpful.
thanks this will help me for my test. i have one question. in my book, one of the examples is ?Ayduaste a tu mama en casa? Si, la ayude. is this the same as u r teaching. sry for not using accents
this is a very helpful video... but it would have been nice if you added ALL of the direct object pronouns as well as the rule for pronoun placement on an infinitive verb. i mean i know... im just sayin haha
is it good to talk with alot of direct object pronouns but have the direct objects in them? for example lo tengo pasta de dientes.....or do i just say tengo pasta de dientes
does this also work with indirect object pronouns and indirect objects
thanks for putting this stuff online. you have thousands of students that are extremely grateful for your videos. on behalf of all of us, thank you!!!!!
The white board it excellent. I have cliff notes spanish books I & II. The books are good but this is a lot easier to follow and understand!!. Thank so much!
THANKS SOOOOO MUCH!!!! you helped me out so much, ive got a test tomorrow and i had no idea what i was doing and my teaher sucks at her job so she couldnt explain it in a simple way I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH
I guess this does not apply to all phrases..? For example, Nosotros asistimos a la reunion, the answer to quien ..?? is just nosotros, so we do not use any direct object pronoun. So, how do you know when to use it?
That is because a direct object pronoun can only replace a direct object. In your example "nosotros" is a subject (a subject pronoun in fact)... If someone asks: quién asiste el video? You could respond: nosotros LO asistimos (video is the d.o.)
No, that is because here,2 La reunión" is not a direct object it is a circunstancial complemente of place (complemento circunstancial de lugar). Where did you assist? To the reunion. It has nothing to be with the direct object.
Professor Jason, I appreciate the posting! IT helps a lot thank you very much. It's one thing when you have the text on a book but it's another thing when you have a video/person explaining it as you have in this video. Thank you!!!
An awesome lesson as usual. My god, you are good. If every teacher in the world ( does not matter what they are teaching ) was like you everyone would be a genius.
I had a few good teachers when i was at school, but two of them were awesome. Awesome in exactly the way you are awesome. A really good teacher does make a difference and will never be forgotten. An awesome teacher ( as i always said) not only does the teaching but also does the learning for the student.
Oi amigo Márcio. Yeah, this pronoun usage is tricky if you speak Brazilian portuguese where you would prefer to say, por exemplo, Ela mandou os livros pro José... However in European Portuguese they still might say (or at least write) Ela lhos mandou, né? Crazy!!
This was a very helpful video. I always catch something from these videos that seem to be lacking in my spanish class. I think you did a GREAT job here!!!!!!!
