The Dems don't mind raising taxes because the majority of them don't even pay taxes. They are essentially paid by actually hard workers for living her. The top 25% of income earners pay 86% of all taxes in the U.S. The bottom 40% pay nothing-- and most of them are on some form of entitlment, meaning they cost earners. @festdir I don't listen to the radio so you can shove that old attack line up your ass. You're use of the "saved or created" talking point illustrates your lack of economic understanding. Even if the number is accurate, which I don't believe it is, those weren't jobs. It was make-work. It saved teachers union jobs, and the bill is due again this year and guess what, the money isn't there anymore, so that isn't really economic progress. Funding a temporary project isn't a job either.
