Hey if you miss rock like this then check out our new irish rock band D-Day who are trying to bring the old style back with our own original music!! if you like us please subscribe
They are playing live up in Montreal Canada this month, Nov. 2011. Anyone going to see it? I'm about 2 hours south of Montreal, had hoped to get a crew together to go up & see this. I can't remember the exact date. I was glad to know they are still performing & touring!
@gmj2012 go and see them, even if you go on your own! 2 hours = about 100 miles, not that far. We saw them in Belfast with Alice Cooper and Def Leppard, that awesome we booked tickets for the Dublin show the following night and watched them again. Lizzy were brilliant, every song you would want them to play, enjoy
@adamkettlety180 , come on mate, you're having a laugh, aren't you? She wasn't worth the ground she stood on. The problem was that she let it all go to her head - literally. It is all just a matter of taste - and she is/was not my taste. AT ALL!
@BTBHSOHBOY No mate. If memory serves me correctly (and if not, I'm sure someone else will!) the line up at this time was Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, John Sykes, Brian Downey & Darren Wharton.....Davie
Looks like Viv Savage from Spinal Tap over there on keyboards. I don't know why they even bothered with a keyboardist, I can't really hear him anyway.
gary is not in this vid i believe that scott gorham is on the right of the screen an im not sure the guitar player on the left of the screen but i think its john sykes! i think john left the band an gary joined! i may be wrong, peace out! rip gary i will miss your blaz~in guitar riffs!
@carrington1955 Hope to see lizzy here in Ireland in feb, looking forward to see viv campbell playing the classics as he was such a lizzy fan all his life, I enjoyed the sykes era but it got a bit too metal lizzy!
don't comment on peoples way of voting !! it's stupid!! waste of time!! boring!! every goddamn post has some assholes who comment on other peoples vote choice!! why?? you go to YouTube to watch videos and postings. don't you?? or you go on here and shit on what others do? who fuckin cares!! let them !!
@guada1367 no, thats Sykes and Scott Gorham. Scott never left the band after he joined. He was there through Robertson, Moore, White, and then Sykes. Moore played a LP gold top, Scott played a '59 LP Standard, as seen in this video.
25 years after Phils death and they still sound as fresh, while you can hear the influence in countless bands today. Groove, lyrics that actually mean something, blazing leads, they had it all! Brilliant!
The best use of parallel thirds popular music has ever had. Every other hair metal lead guitar melody can be traced back to the guitar parts on this song.
