  • Long live Rock.

  • @treezrok theyre not underrated. they are the best band to have ever lived and anybody who thinks otherwise is overrated

  • One of the most underrated bands of all time.

  • 1:10 don't touch me bitch!!!

  • 26 years ago today Phill Lynott passed away, we miss ya man hope your selling out cloud 9 tonight in heaven. R.I.P

  • superb!

  • thin lizzy was great, remember that gary moore was part of the band for a while. best irish band ever...incredible guitars, never heard anything like this still to this day...

  • Hey if you miss rock like this then check out our new irish rock band D-Day who are trying to bring the old style back with our own original music!! if you like us please subscribe

  • awesome

  • is that sykes?

  • @djmm1397 Yes

  • Ahhh 32 losers I see that don't know good music if it slapped them in the face

  • They are playing live up in Montreal Canada this month, Nov. 2011. Anyone going to see it? I'm about 2 hours south of Montreal, had hoped to get a crew together to go up & see this. I can't remember the exact date. I was glad to know they are still performing & touring!

  • @gmj2012 go and see them, even if you go on your own! 2 hours = about 100 miles, not that far. We saw them in Belfast with Alice Cooper and Def Leppard, that awesome we booked tickets for the Dublin show the following night and watched them again. Lizzy were brilliant, every song you would want them to play, enjoy

  • i wish i had to grow up with this music way better then music on the radio these days

  • @oatesINboats I second that comment but if you get off the mainstream radio stations and listen to the obscure ones thers brilliant music out there.

  • Is that Gary Moore with the Sunburst Les Paul?

  • @huskerspew

    no

  • @huskerspew NO!

  • 30 people are girls who stayed outta town

  • My favorite Lizzy line up.....

  • Phil Lynott, taken so soon while we still have Justin Fkin Bieber, Amy Winehouse (oops) and Ri-fikin-hanna

  • @Maxheadroom64pk i think including Amy in there is a bit harsh!

  • @adamkettlety180 , come on mate, you're having a laugh, aren't you? She wasn't worth the ground she stood on. The problem was that she let it all go to her head - literally. It is all just a matter of taste - and she is/was not my taste. AT ALL!

  • @Maxheadroom64pk fair enough its your opinion and you are entitled to it :)

  • @Maxheadroom64pk It's a shame, I wish I could go back in time and go to that concert.

  • great performance!! Although i found funnny how john sykes had to jerk away from the crowd...

  • Is this when Gary Moore was with them?

  • @BTBHSOHBOY No mate. If memory serves me correctly (and if not, I'm sure someone else will!) the line up at this time was Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, John Sykes, Brian Downey & Darren Wharton.....Davie

  • @davedee31165 Correct. Gary Moore (god bless his soul) left in 79.

  • @bencsmark I love this song

  • Mustaine ;DDDD

  • @xxmastercc Either that or John Sykes. I'm pretty sure it's John Sykes

  • many band plays shuffle rhythm

i think Lizzy's is the best

  • It's extremely difficult to play a guitar bass and sing a song at the same time. Phil was genius!

  • I bet they get a little more happy for residuals when a new Toy Story movie is released....

  • un superbe groupe superbe musique super live bref j aime :D

  • Phil would be 62 today... =/

  • It 's so much fun whenever I listen to this song. Great song! RIP Phil.

  • saw them at the bowl in melbourne 1977

  • I found funny how the guitarist had to jerk his hand away cause someone tried to grab it.

  • Listening to this song let forget you all troubles and problems

  • What a mosh pit... haha

  • Love it.

  • Still great !

  • the most underrated band ever, along with alice in chains.

  • 1:11 the guy just grabs his hand!

  • toon army!! hehe I like how Phil was told not to say "get your knickers down" - so he said it anyway for a laugh haha

I loved this band (the original anyway)

(I loved "Cold Sweat" by this line up).

    \m/

  • 26 retards who sud die painfully (Thin Lizzy ar #1)

  • March 17, 1951: Happy Birthday to Scott Gorham, guitarist for Thin Lizzy!! ☺

  • Fan Freakin Tastic!!!

  • The Expendables!!!!

  • @MrCouchmen best part of that movie was when this song was played

  • There's no Gary Moore in that- Scott and John.

  • @Hoodinski Isn't that Scott and Snowy White? I could be mistaken.

  • @dudestr5552 It's John Sykes and Scott Gorham. I think that line-up remained unchanged till they finally split in 1983.

  • @GarryAP Honestly I don't know too much about Thin Lizzy in the 80s. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

  • seen them in Nashville years ago .was a 3 band set headliner was Head East than Thin lizzy and 38 special was a great concert Lizzy kicked azz

  • LEGENDS

  • I'm so happy that this is one of those rock songs about love or a girl, unlike the ones these days .

  • Guess who just came back today...Gods of rock!!!

  • NAH 23 queer little bros with no taste,ie dumb fuckers

  • The greatest band of all time (in my opinion) this vid confirms 2 things to me.

1: The greatest band of all time with great songs and great guitarists.

2: Darren Wharton is a waste of space.

  • is that john sykes and gary moore on guitar?

  • @guada1367 Scott Gorham.

  • @guada1367 no, thats Sykes and Scott Gorham. Scott never left the band after he joined. He was there through Robertson, Moore, White, and then Sykes. Moore played a LP gold top, Scott played a '59 LP Standard, as seen in this video.

  • @will335 and?

  • why do people thumbs down this - why are u here?!!

what's wrong with it? it's too live, their hair's not quite right, there's too much dry ice,...??!!

  • It's hard to believe that Phil has been dead for 25 years RIP

  • u cant be touching his hand while he plays the guitar crazy fans man

  • 25 years after Phils death and they still sound as fresh, while you can hear the influence in countless bands today. Groove, lyrics that actually mean something, blazing leads, they had it all! Brilliant!

  • The best use of parallel thirds popular music has ever had. Every other hair metal lead guitar melody can be traced back to the guitar parts on this song.

  • HAHA 1:11 "Not now bitch, im trying to play"

  • I never knew the whole time I was a child the singer was black. Thin Lizzy was fucking awesome.

  • These boys rock, RIP Phil, gone but not forgotten

  • I miss you Philo!

  • 23 PEOPLE CANNOT HAVE FUN AND DONT LIKE TO DRINK BEER
