A very good video which I haven't seen before today-The citizens still have devistation there- The politicians are being manipulated by special interest groups to keep this out of the public eye. Thank heavens for the internet- They can't hide!
This video is hilarious. One of the funniest parts was the dog eating the fish. Not sure if this was meant for comedic purposes, but I found it to be pretty humorous.
Hey Molly, Im speaking at MTSU (Middle Tenn State Univ) on Jan 20 about the spill and want to show your first video to the audience, if thats OK. Can you please contact me, davecooper928 at yahoo. Ive also used your video in my Huffington Post blog. Thanks
I'm not sure of the reference there but I admire Ms. Conte's activism for victims' rights and child advocacy. I just wish Bredesen hadn't made the comment about not being afraid of the ash. I wish he hadn't selected a spot where the damage wasn't visible by camera (or, at least, that's the impression I got from the article). It just smacked of PR and, God, I hope I'm wrong about that. People are getting sick. Warnings were not issued and "everyone" was not evacuated. It's just a mess.
To those who saw the first cut and now notice a change, I was asked to remove the photo of the Governor with TVA's CEO Tom Kilgore. Knoxnews owns the photo and it's a great shot. If you want to see it, you can google "Bredesen Visits Site of Retention Pond Spill" The article is by Matt Lakin and the photo was taken by J. Miles Cary

I'm not surprised by Bredesen's comment. He doesn't believe violent crime is anything to be afraid of either. Truly, a man without fear.
