The presumption that gunpowder was first made by the Chinese does not stand the test of historical research. Writing in his book Arab Civilization, the author says that "gunpowder was a great invention of the Arabs who were already using guns". Guns were used by Arabs in 1340 A.D. in the defence of Al-Bahsur, when Franzdol besieged it.

phosphorous bombs were never used in the operation in Gaza, only Phosphorous lightning bombs were blown 40 meters above the ground, to scare the civilians and Hamas away!! maybe in order to demolish buildings of threat, and maybe to allow infantry to marche in more carefully. and even if Israel was using such bombs, these are still not weapons of mass destruction.
