DWTS dancers were not lame, they were professional and championship winning ball room dancers....of course in today's world where cool awesome gimmicks always win over traditional styles, people would think some cool looking dance crew is somehow superior to ball room dancing when both dance styles are equally as cool and important.....

@BetaArtemis while I agree with your overall sentiment I disagree with you using the word "gimmicks" when what you must mean are "cool awesome dance moves". They are not gimmicks when they are part of the dance style, they are moves. Hip Hop dancers would be well served to train in all styles including ballroom just like ballroom dancers should have some rudimentary hip hop....it's the beauty of dance when you can incorporate different styles.

@BetaArtemis I know this was a year ago, but I like to comment haha. I personally really love Quest Crew, what they do is unique, but i'm not trying to say that ballroom is easy either; it takes hard work and effort to do both of their styles and make it looks good. but breakers are not that respected in the dance world either, if oyu watch SYTYCD, it isn't very often that a good breaker makes it far or is even chosen, so bashing them is basically contradictory to your overall statement.

It's fun to see Quest again. My big thrill is seeing Joshua and Katee side by side once more, my all time favorites. Josh kills that move up from the floor, just like he did on the original show. Too bad it went by so quickly. I'd rather watch these dancers than actors prancing around in sequins.
