  • why cant i pause this video half way through? what kind of hacking is this?

  • lmfao I love your ending questions.. of course it's important. How can I have Liberty when a government can completely remove my Liberty "indefinitely" without evidence?

  • @Killerjosh89 Its about time you educated yourself to know that if you live in USA you're in the United Terror States of RACIST, APARTHEID Zionist Israel.

Zionists have taken over the Whitehouse, the media & Zionist bankers STOLE the Fed Bank nearly a century ago & use it to RULE Govt

Zionists call you CATTLE,'Goyim' and WHORES 'Chiksas', to your face on TV. & called you TRASH for years

Now they've made USA into a ONE BIG Gitmo ZOO with the Indefinite Detention bill. NO RIGHTS

    U better leave

  • @IdaSputum (Patting you on the shoulder) Man are you behind the times. Don't you read Bigots Monthly? Blaming the Jews for everything is passe, the modern forward thinking Bigot, while still resentful of the Jewish people, has moved on to blaming Muslims for everything wrong with the world. Also the fire has been turned up on the gays ever since Prop 8 was over turned, but the Jews? What is this 1940. You're not even in touch with a group that typically out touch.

  • @CanadaDan1971 HEY!! I saw you in the vid - "COINTELPRO; What you should know"

How're the hourly rates on the Zionist payroll?

Naah, I'm not into bending over whilst Zionist Govt shafts USA up the ass & turns it into a cattle run. That's your dept.

  • @IdaSputum Hey Genius, I'm in Canada, not a lot of Jews up here. But you're probably right. Yeah because everyone the diagrees with you is part of a conspricy. That's why you have no job, or girlfriend, or friends period. It's not that you're a lazy or useless or stupid or a loser who can blame everyone but himself. Just keep blaming everyone else, because nothing is your fault, you're totally powerless... because of the Jews and the goverment... it's not your fault

  • @CanadaDan1971 aahhh you shouldn't talk about yrself like that. Are you the only lonely Zionist in Canada? Self esteem issues eh? Well, would love to fill yr void some more, but I've gotta go meet my BOYfriend now. No I'm not gay, Ida is a womans name, you clever poor little thing.

  • @IdaSputum your name could alsio be seen as I Da Sputum

    or - I'm the phlegm

  • @willgimon YES im the SPIT! Ha! And i dispute them

  • @IdaSputum ah clever, I didn't notice that one.

  • @willgimon it made me learn Sputum has no 'e' in it :-)

  • @IdaSputum make another account for when you just tell outright lies and convince people to believe it, you could call it IdaSeptum

  • @willgimon OK thanks, leave it with me! They'll ALL fall for every word I say like a charm,

Maybe I could do an IdaKnow account too for when i want to get splinters in my bum like all these fence sitters? Nah, i'll leave that one.

  • @IdaSputum hmmm....what weird conversations going on in these comments. So someone in here is so lame they have the time to run around to add to the incredible amount of disinformation already available. I always wondered what kinds of things those jackasses would talk about. Seriously!?!

  • @Killerjosh89 I used to be Jewish, but then I took an arrow to the knee

    (I'm sorry but I honestly couldn't resisit).

  • It's defenitely a zoo. I finished reading a book not long ago by an ex-detinee of Guantanomo Bay. His name is Murat Kurnaz. He talks about how the Americans had all the information on him in the first week, moreover they told him he got sold by the Pakistani Police for $3000,-, yet he remained in Guantanomo Bay for five more years, nearly being tortured to death. He also wrote there was a 12-year-old boy in there. I mean, what more do I need to say?!

  • Any pan pizza only 10$!??! Why isn't this being talked about?!

  • @LemmingAttack lol...I was about to comment on how much I wanted pizza now....AND FOR ONLY 10 BUCKS

  • Yes on both counts.

  • @LiberalViewer. Yes,and Yes.

  • CHENY PLANNED IRAQ OIL WAR MONTHS BEFORE 911

  • people are still defending obama?

  • uhhh, newsflash, the president doesn't run the country. Do you know how many levels of security are above the presidential office? Kennedy bucked the "powers that be" and we all know how that worked out for him.

  • Maintaining Gitmo is so incredibly unamerican and unsupportable. The recent leaked Gitmo documents show the detainees are mostly held to extract information, not for security reasons. They held an Al Jazeera cameraman for years because they wanted to know about that organization. They held people for years becuase they were wearing the "wrong watch".

The USA should change their motto from "The land of the free" to "We have all the power and none of the responsibility".

  • This is one thing that Obama needs to fight republicans for and not buckle so easily, otherwise, I won't vote for him in 2012. Close GITMO Obama!!!!!!!!!!! Don't let republicans control you!!!!!

  • I agreee it is disappoiting. If they don't have credible charged to put these people on trial for then let them go. the "better 10 criminals released than 1 innocent jailed" principle still holds. Guantanamo is abomination that exists solely to circumvent the laws governing how you can treat human beings. It is cheating quite frankly. One set of rules for our people and one set of rules for the "sand niggers". Enough of that! people are people! Same rights for everyone!

  • The argument follows the premise that, because we meddled or invaded the middle east we have these problems. The fact is, there are people who would not hesitate to rape your wife 50 times in front of you and cut your heads off. Their motivation? Hate for everything the west stands for, which includes political freedom, freedom of SPEECH, etc. If you want to release the prisoners, release them where the proponents of this are, and see if they feel safe.

  • hesh says this is bad everything is now after us run run run

  • Well, I do understand what you all say, But rights extend to American citizens. Prisoners at Gitmo are not American in nationality, but Foregners that are more dangerous to America's freedom and well-being than any regular prison in florida is. Basically im saying, while I do support the American Judicual systmem 100%, I reconize the need for a alternative system for those who don't fall under catagory of American citizens.

  • @JaxTheFound So what are you saying? Are foreigners less human?

  • @K03nS No, I am not saying that, nor am I implying it. I am saying that we see them differently, and the Gov. tends to not give a care or less if you are.

  • @JaxTheFound Just so you know... nowhere in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights does it say that "rights" only extend to "citizens". The Bill of Rights extends to ANYONE that is on US soil, whether they are an American or not.

  • @XenMonkey13 True, but thats why its not on US soil, the bill of rights doesnt apply, thats why Gitmo is in cuba.

  • @JaxTheFound Ahh, there have been recent provisions allowing the the Bill of Rights to be enacted on territories of the US that happen to not be on American soil. So.... yeah.

  • @inkheart1414 But that falls under: Just because it can, doesnt mean it will. IE. We CAN release all the prisoners who have been imprisoned because they are deemed a threat to national security, even though we have little to no proof, But that doesnt mean we WILL. Its all a matter of What the Gov. sees fit to protect national securityy, if that means witholding the rights of Americansand Non-Americans alike, than they will do it. Look up what happened to Japenese Americans at 1942.

  • @JaxTheFound

How about turning your brain on? How would you feel if Russian or Chinese goverment have had imprisoned your brother or father or son, without any evidence, just because some douchebag like you felt they were danger for China or Russia. If some of you Americans are paranoid, that doesn't give you right to kidnap people all over the world. You are foreigner in France or United Kingdom, but that doesn't meen they can deny your human rights. Ignorant idiot!

  • @KirStefanSrbin Russia and China have a history of doing that.

And if you want to play the European who Claims to be a Guiness card, Why not look back at the French during their revolution, and England. And Why don't you look at the prisoners of Gitmo, They are a majority of Middle Easterners. Suspected Terrorists, Suppliers of Weapons and Funding, etc. You won't find a Random Tourist from Germany In Gitmo. Thats the difference between Russia/China and America. They will take you regardless,

  • @KirStefanSrbin So Before calling someone an Ignorant Idiot, If I went to Russia and started taking alot of pictures, Id be Taken into custody, questioned, have my Camera/Cell phone taken, then released with only the clothes on my back. In America, If take pictures, thats fine. If you walk around the Pentagon's/White house's Gates, thats fine. But if you call a suspected Individual who is known to associate themselves with Radicals, and tell them what you saw, THEN you will be taken into Custody

  • @JaxTheFound

Are you fucking serious? If I went to Russia...? There are milions of tourists in Moskow every year. How many of them ends up in custody for taking pictures? If you claim something, than you should provide some evidents for your claims. If you do so, I'll take back what I said about you being idiot and appologize. And most of people in Gitmo got kidnapped in Iraq or Afghanistan, not in USA. So you kidnapped people in their own country. They never made to NY or LA.

  • @KirStefanSrbin We "kidnapped" suspected terrorists before they could do more harm to the rest of the world.

But, I do give credit where it is neccisary, And I applaud you for actually making a heated, civilized debate. Most people you find have the intellegence level of a Squirell.

  • @JaxTheFound

And why are you comparing human rights during French revolution, which started in 1789. with USA 2011. You consider yourself to be progressive, but still compare to Europe in late XVIII century. Nice work, dude, really nice work.

  • @KirStefanSrbin No, I dont consider myself a Progressive. My point is, ever nation will have a point in time where they convict people and deny them their rights. It happens. It is just the reasons of WHY it happens that differ.

  • I do beleave that taking rights away unjustly not only threatens the integrity of the country, but also the safety. Right vs. Might and right always wins, wich is why I tend to be Left winged ;)

  • required to make a determination on the basis of law they stipulate; then the lawmakers have no need to be rigorous in the making of the laws. Therefore the other mechanisms of the constitution break down, including those that protect natural rights. What is interesting to consider is to what extend Madison really meant trial by jury in particular, would he believe that a jury now be competent to try Gitmo detainees? He believed in the people - so why not?

  • The last question is not as simple as it seems. Madison said the right to trial by jury - a particular kind of trial. But it seems to me that LiberalViewers arguments focus more on the right to have a determination made. If a determination is made to the satisfaction of some honorable party or group, then at least it can be argued with. What Madison said is correct (I think) if he is referring to this aspect, because if "the people" can be physically detained without the lawmakers being...

  • you know I hate making this remark cause I actually really respect your opinion but you so often use jon stewart remarks often, and he also often claims his show to be a comedy after a puppet show. We all know he has a plan, and in regaurds to that itdoesn't seem like something safe for the people, but none the less, why use comedians on a constant basis?

  • Yes, And what I don't get is what the hell is going on with Obama? Am I the only one who thinks this?

  • Obama is definitely NOT getting a 2nd Term...better look for a 3rd Party....enough with trusting the dems (spineless corporatists).

  • From what I have heard and seen the prisoners are treated BETTER than prisoners in regular U.S. Prisons....so maybe you are right, we should bring them over to the U.S. and put them in regular prisons. But these people should have gotten a trial first. Oh and some of the prisoners Obama freed re-joined terrorist organizations already.

  • the answers to your questions..... Yes and Yes.

  • Gitmo is an utter disgrace. It's one of the reasons I've come to loathe the USA and it's gutless citizens for allowing it to remain and not storming the streets demanding its closure. What a bunch of cruel and heartless bastards you've become.

  • I'm still divided on this. If the U.S. would treat war prisoners with the SAME rights as they would an American citizen, they might as well just send a memo to the enemies titled: "we'll let you win."

Guantamo is there to serve as a deterrent to terrorist groups.

There's not a good way of telling who's really innocent and who's not.

Then again, I'm against the exploitation of power at times of national crisis.

  • Brilliant as usual.

  • I was a fence-sitter, and I'm really leftwing. But then I realized this:

    1. Letting these men go means it is a CHANCE that they will come back to bomb the US.

2, Holding these men prisoner means we violated the Golden rule of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". This is not a matter of chance. We ARE doing that. It's not about PR

It's better to take a CHANCE on damage than to continue ACTUAL damage

Violating the Golden Rule goes against many religions plus UN rules/US Law

  • @BrianPratpick

What a retarded argument. Don't you realize` that it's exactly the argument that the "other side uses".. i.e. a terrorist attack on every American city, "cause if you let them live they'd imprison us". You are pointing a finger and doing that three of your fingers point back at you :p

  • @zhrmod sorry, you're rambling.

what I said comes down to "do unto others, as you would have them do to you". In other words, don't be a fucking hypocrite.

What part of that don't you agree with?

American Exceptionalism is WRONG. It's been preceded by German Exceptionalism, Soviet Exceptionalism, Chinese Exceptionalism, British Exceptionalism, Ottoman Exceptionalism, Cheyenne Exceptionalism, French Exceptionalism. So ... American Exceptionalism really COMMON as hell. And wrong.

  • @zhrmod

    >> "You're trying to back-paddle while your previous statement (to which I responded) is still here."

    WHAT?? Me 'back-paddling' ?????

seems to me you're a moron who can't read. shall we agree to that?

otherwise, kindly point out the phrases i've used to which im backpaddling in your eyes ....

  • @BrianPratpick

You givr the proof here that you are a moron who can neither read nor write. My objection was clear to your statement: "Letting these men go means it is a CHANCE that they will come back to bomb the US."

It IS as I stated the same argument used by the reactionary terrorists... No matter what you use it to prove.. Now are you gonna continue trolling or phrase your statements in the future after SOME thought?

  • @zhrmod hey, just keep hugging those kids, you're not good for anything else. If you wanna demonstrate someones backpaddling, you do it like this: "you said A, now you say B, which contradicts A, because ..... "

    You can't. Because you're dumb.

Letting these men go, does mean TOO a CHANCE that they will come back to bomb the US. What's your major malfunction?? (oh wait ... you're a retard. Please don't have kids! Oh damn! )

  • @BrianPratpick Saying "a chance of" based on just hunch, gut feeling or suspicsion is not enough and can't be built/concluded upon.. This is what the whole video and several other LiberalViewer videos are about (for those with brains). Many of the detainies are there because they attacked US army on their own land and not close to being terrorists.

I give up as your brains are beyound logical reach so this is the last answer dedicated to you troll.. now be my guest and spam as much as you wish.

  • @zhrmod Dude, if you lock someone up unjustly, torture him beyond all sense, it's logical that he wants to retaliate n rightly so. So, except Jesus, MLK & Gandhi (and even Jesus got upset at times), everyone would wanna strike back. Nothing hunchy, or conjecturally about it.

So, there's a chance. not a certainty. but the very fact that we do this, is already damaging. Nothing chance-ish about it. Like I said before, but which you apparently chose to ignore.

But, since there are already ==>

  • @zhrmod 2/2 ==> are already millions of people would wanna bomb the US, most with good reason (the 1st theory about 9/11 was retaliation for US support in the 1973 coup in Chile, for example), I say a couple of hundred more isn't gonna matter.

Also, if there's a chance of them bombing us, there's also a (bigger, IMHO) chance that they WON'T bomb us. Cos I can imagine them being worn down & will grab any excuse so they don't HAVE to retaliate.

Like I won this debate, cos i worn YOU down ... :)

  • @all

Now mr zhrmod PMmed me with "ur just a kid who can't find something cool to say so "he" finds quotes from Starcraft."

Which is not an argument. He can't give me one, he doesn't have one, because apparently he's too stupid to think one up.

So, now that he truly has resorted to name-calling & jeering he doubly declared himself the loser

Also, he's PMming me, cos he doesn't want everyone to know that even though he called me a troll, he still reacts to me. Now, who's the troll?

  • I would say it is more of a resort than a prison or a zoo. A nice place to visit when you are not hiding in a cave.

  • All respect to you "liberal viewer".. but let me put it this wat: If we treat people like animals then they will most probably live up to our expectations and vice versa.. I.e. If we start treating all the world reflecting some good expectations (& respect) then the world will be safer and thus some certain people will make less money. Those "certain people" need unstability and do whatever they can to promote it. Sad but true no matter what new face is used to continue selling the propaganda.

  • There's no such thing as the "pre-existing rights of nature".

  • I think that Obama really wanted to close gitma, but then he realized, "shit ... we have no where to put them." It's an example of an idealist seeing reality

  • @PolishNomad95

How about - apologising then sending them home.

  • @PolishNomad95 what you forget to mention is that Obama's has been twarthed to give these men actual justice because Americans are such PUSSY's these days that PRISONERS are seen as a huge threat to life,. limbs and security. It's fucking INCREDIBLE. Also, if Rebpub resistance to this had faltered they would have seen as giving in to Obama

Repubs rather kill us all than to be seen to give n to Obama. Crazy? SURE. It's what we expect from RepuKKKeliKKKan'ts

  • I disagree with Madison. There ARE no rights of nature.

  • @mrbluesky323 but there are rights we deserve as a civilized people and i have t say the right to live under any circumstance is always at the but if we dith the right to privacy and speech we are no different than an animal we ARE animals but what makes us human is empathy

  • @nibbers97

To be clear, i definitely agree that it's in our benefit to follow our own laws... but not for the sake of empathy or what people deserve.

  • @nibbers97

To be clear, i definitely agree that it's in our benefit to follow our own laws... but not for the sake of empathy or what people deserve. I would simply prefer to live in a society where such values are upheld.

  • @mrbluesky323 you're alone in that.

  • @BrianPratpick

Well, everyone knows truth comes by popular vote.

  • @mrbluesky323 ok, ur not really alone, I prefer such a world too, but I WOULD do it for the sake of empathy, cos i don't need to show that I'm tough/unemotional. If ur implying that empathy is a bad reason to do stuff, you're wrong. And some truths DO exist because of popular vote. Is it a truth that women should vote? This TOO was decided by popular vote. There's nothing inevitable or inexorable about that one. The majority of men simply preferred to live in a world where this was so.

  • @BrianPratpick

I wasn't implying anything about the validity (or invalidity) of empathy. I was merely saying that as i see it, rights (like the right to vote) are granted by the society. Not by nature. As such, there are no natural rights. It's a contradiction in terms. Rights imply civilization, i.e. they're artificial. I don't agree that it's a Truth that women should be allowed to vote. It's only my (and the majority of western civilization's) opinion that they should.

  • @mrbluesky323 agree on the natural rights thing. I just wanted to argue against your sarcasm (?) "truth comes by popular vote." Sometimes, yes, it does come down to that. While Civil rights to vote are not a "natural right" they ARE a so-called "societal truth". (Brought about by technological advances, like the steam engine, internal plumbing, which goes against the notion of natural rights. But when we run out of oil, most likely we'll revert to medieval ways: no women vote etc.)

  • @BrianPratpick

Well, it's a semantic disagreement then. I prefer to reserve the word truth for "is's" rather than "oughts". But, to each his own.

  • @mrbluesky323 I see what you mean, but to downgrade this to merely a "semantic disagreement", i don't think that's entirely correct. "Oughts" can be as much of a reality than the "IS's"

Take people dying for some believe system (I apologize for being unclear). So, they think it's their duty to die for their religion, like anti-abortionists killing doctors & accepting the death penalty, because they "OUGHT" to defend whatever idea they might have. Their possible death IS very real.

  • @Brian

Well admittedly the semantic definition of truth is foundational to any worldview, so this particular disagreement isn't trivial, per se. I mean, i think such a fundamental disagreement would make it difficult for us to communicate effectively about the subject.

Put it this way: It's easy to imagine demonstrably false ideas being commonly held as true among some group. If that's possible (or even common), why should we ever accept the group's mere agreement as a measure of "truth"?

  • @mrblue "It's easy to imagine demonstrably false ideas being commonly held as true among some group. If that's possible (or even common), why should we ever accept the group's mere agreement as a measure of "truth"?"

Back to women voting, eh? "mere agreement" is never enough, you're right. It has to be backed by factual evidence. Men realized the benefits of women voting. Not a natural right, but a better system. Like driving on 1 side of the road. US gun laws get more ppl kiled. but yet ==>

  • @mrblue US gun laws demonstrably get more ppl killed, but yet Americans persist in a false believe of more security. Europe has strict gun laws (actually, no history of civil gun ownership) and it has less gun related deaths. Americans cling bitterly to the 2nd amendment to the point of stating that the 9 year sol girls killed in Tucson would have lived, if she only had had a gun.

Another good example of why we "shouldn't accept a group's (USA) mere agreement as a measure of truth "

  • BLAH BLAH BLAH Fox News is awesome! BLAH BLAH BLAH Attack on Christianity! BLAH BLAH BLAH Yer wif tha terrists! BLAH BLAH BLAH

  • The Military Industrial Complex has told Obama, it's either him or Gitmo, it's pretty evident which one he chose.

  • @JOHNINCOLUMBUS oooh so brave, bashing Obama. Obama is the best the worlds got, so shut the fuck up. Would we be better off with Moron Bachman as president? Even Romney? no, they'd just pander to millionaires to make America a low wage country ....

  • Despite the Prison not being closed down and keeping people detained indefinitely, it should at least be considered that this is a step forward towards making things right. Some seem to forget that beforehand, we weren't just keeping these people detained, but actually torturing them for information. Now thanks to all the media and strong push to close it down, there's less room for these terrible atrocities to go unnoticed, which was the main concern to get it shut down.

  • @RainWizard483 NOT thanks the media!!! Thanks to Obama! He stopped the torture ... now, all the senators are shitting their paints for a bunch of innocent civilians, who they themselves turned into America haters.

  • @BrianPratpick The media gave it the attention. Obama was the president that was there.

  • @RainWizard483 duh. He still had to do it. McLAme wouldn't even have brought up trying these men in civilian tribunals, like Obama tried. but was sabotaged.

  • @BrianPratpick Dude, this is like 5 months old. It's dead. Let the media keep arguing it. We got more important things to do. Also, McLame? I use wordplay only in irony now.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm with Maddison!

Trial by jury first tossed about by the athenians and then brought to the fore by Henry !! in Britain - have been a fundamental part of the concept of democracy. Get rid of Gitmo - and stop being reactive - become again the hope of the world rather than the spoilt child

  • And it is such a hypocrisy that we are in another country (Libya) trying to help overthrow their government because of it's dictatorship while we have stripped rights away from others, fixed elections, and a government that will spy on their own people. We are such a hypocritical nation and furthermore, we (the people) are too stupid to care or do anything about it.

  • Jon Stewart is a piece of shit and a sellout. Probably getting fat checks by Fox News now.

  • @glddraco solid and well constructed argument. i like how you provided evidence and maintained a calm demeanor.

  • @daftnomad lol I was drunk but I still wont take back what I said. The guy is a sellout. Evidence is that he's now bashing all the other net works which makes his bashing to fox seem rather trivial. Of course he's right some when it comes to CNN but than again who is Jon Stewart? Nothing more than a washed up comedian and doubtless is trying to keep his ratings up. Oh and where is the evidence that Manning is being tortured?

  • @glddraco yer so right!! Jon Stewart never talks bad about Fox, never craps on their insane lies, never exposes their greed and stupidity!!! ..............

  • Wow, a politician didn't keep his promise, shock horror, hold the front page.

  • I looked at the whole clip and I did not come away with the impression Stewart was "mocking" the Liberals. He made an intro joke (shown on this clip) but he was clearly against Obama. Please don't be like the Uber-cons and pull clips of clips, then spin them out of context. The FULL clip is on the Daily show page 9 March 2011 show.

  • Liberals= insane and/or evil

  • @agnostaxian NeoKKKons = trying, but failing to depict progresives as their racist, insane selves.

I'll give you a tip, we are not as dumb as your inbred selves! try to make an intelligent remark for once!! Oh wait, you're a RepubliKKKunt Teabagger! never mind.

  • Hey liberals, now that Obama has bombed Libya is he a warmonger to? What excuse will you give for him?

  • @agnostaxian 1) UN resolution! 2) been asked by the rebels themselves 3) not there to insert democracy but helping the rebels against Gaddafi 4) not lying about WMD ;)

  • @Baal1985 LOL!!! Oh yes this is way Different. Our most liberal president has attacked a MUSLIM COUNTRY with an EVIL DICTATOR that OPPRESSES HIS PEOPLE and the country has a SHIT LOAD OF OIL but hey France is with us this time so that makes it all right.

Also we don't want to get rid of the dictator just curb his activities, Joke

  • @agnostaxian I wont define Obama has been liberal (but for an American apparently). How is it important that Libya is a muslim country? I am not saying it is not important, but you need to explain why you think it is so important you had to highlight that fact.

Who is "we"? Some want this dictator removed other people differ.

I might have a difficulty in understanding now and then, so try to turn down your satire and turn up your rationality so you at least display the brain activity of yours

  • @agnostaxian Wait, how does this make you feel inadequate? other than being you, I mean? Oh wait, you wished YOUR guy had done it!

This is like Repubs having some notions, supporting them fully, but when Obama embraces these (for the sake of naive bi-partisanry) YOU SUDDENLY HATE YOUR OWN IDEAS. RepuKKKes/KKKonservatives = hypocrites AND flip floppers.

  • @BrianPratpick Brian pratpicKKK= another example that liberals are insane

  • @agnostaxian yep, in your eyes, someone who gives logic and facts is clearly insane. So, u resort to namecalling. How predictable.

    RepuKKKeliKKKan'ts = you're racist AND incompetent.

  • @BrianPratpick yes and you NEVER resort to name calling, lol

  • @Baal1985 5) not committing major fraud by keeping the cost off the books. Bush should be given the death penalty for that one alone.

  • “The claim that extraterritorial aliens are entitled to rights under the 5th Amendment has been emphatically rejected.”

  • freshness

  • obama is going to be putting libyans there next. Obama lied people died. Stop this illegal war! No blood for oil! No war in my name!

  • @mike1111qq Just another example of RePUKKKES who are STEALING OUR SLOGANS! Bush lied, American troops died. Think up your own slogans, stop stealing ours. Especially when they YOUR SLOGANS are ... LIES !!!!

Besides, "Obama lied people died"??? WHAT DA FUCK?? you don't even think of muslims as people, so shut the fuck up, you fucking hypocrite.

  • @BrianPratpick you don't even think of muslims as people??? exactly thay are brainwashed stone age retards that worship a devil book and blood god ... Muhammad was a child molester just like you. Aisha was six years old when betrothed to Muhammad.... the more that die the better.

  • @mike1111qq i guess your a hardcore christian huh. Were yur religion is great and everyone elses is the devil. Well if you say the worship a blood god since You Christians went into the holy land During the crusades with the same intent kill for your GOD. BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM Mutthafucker LAWYERED

  • @SuperEdwin92 thats history fuckhead im talkin bout now ....and im talkin about the blood god NOW and the idiots that follow the cult mohamid was a child molestin murderer and all i belive in is the TRUTH NOW hardcore.

  • @SuperEdwin92 i am my own god but i am for peaceful religions NOW and against hatful inocent killing religions NOW not hundreds of years ago....i wasent there and dont care...people living now can stop the fucking baby killing muslim pigs......

  • @BrianPratpick do you have a schimitar and an ak?

  • @HOAX900 no, just my standard issue of Sam Tax .... why?

  • @BrianPratpick then you aren't a stereotype and there is no reason to worry broseph :)

  • It may be evidence that was obtained by technological means or sources that we do not want the enemy to know about. Say snitches that are still buried in the Taliban or Al Queada... That is my concern. I despised GHWB. He was incompetent and stupid. Despite this I believe he had the BEST interest of his country at heart. That is why he held them and that is why Obama is still holding them. They know something we do not.

  • Trust the pres to do what is right to maintain balance. It is possible they lack evidence. It is more likely that the evidence they have was improperly obtained. No torture just illegally obtained. Argue this is another reason to release. I argue that though evidence is improperly obtained and unusable in court that does not make the evidence Less Valid Therefore Pres is doin what is necessary to protect the United States and his campaign promise to CLOSE plays second fiddle to nat. security

  • @governmentgrant The rules for obtaining evidence are nearly non-existent for a military tribunal, and yet there are people being held at Gitmo that are not even undergoing that. If there isn't even enough evidence for that then how can we justify holding them?

  • dude i was hoping you would do a clip on O'Riely's show on the weekend with coulter and that crazy motherfucker beck, i almost vomited in my mouth.

  • Yes the US is doing a good job showing the world what democracy is not

  • Holding people up in high security prisons for up to decades without trial or evidence is as bad Kidnapping and taking hostage by brute power.

  • Once again, Liberalviewer has been taking the daily show and using it as a reliable news source, which it really isn't and i hope that an apple hits him in the head one day and he can stop doing this because it's quite stupid and only makes his arguments look bad.

  • liberals doing a flip-flop! saw that coming a mile away. vote Republican

  • @ioneipp Because Republicans never flip flop? Look at McCain.

  • @warjikin google flip flop McCain or go here for 50 McCain flip flops

    zplonkDOTtripodDOTcom/flipflops.htm

    (replace DOT with a ".")

    zplonk . tripod . com/flipflops . htm

    (remove spaces)

  • Dear LiberalViewer, one suggestion, can you start to exclude the sniggering at the end of your videos? It gives the impression that your questions are loaded when they aren't. I think the questions you ask deserve more attention.

  • @wildreams I totally agree. The sniggering gives the question at the end an appearamce of being frivolous and not important.

  • STOP GIVING OBAMA A PASS!He is bought and paid for. Ralph Nader said he was afraid Obama would be an Uncle Tom.This has turned out to be so true. Bush did whatever he wanted.

During WW2 when they caught those German saboteurs they put them on trial. I think the reason they do not want to do this, is they are afraid the public might find out how much these people were tortured. How many of these people have been quietly released after being to wrongly detained?

Make feel so sad to be an American.

  • If you can't let the Gitmo detainees go, extradite them to Texas and have them executed on the grounds that they're AY-rabs.

  • The Cold War was over by the time I cared about politics, but I still remember hearing about Siberia and the "Gulag". Even if those being held prove to be a danger somehow, we all know that in this world a myth can become far more powerful than the few people it's based on.

  • They can take away all your rights anytime they damn well feel like it. Don't believe me - Go to wikipedia and type in the search box "Japanese Americans 1942."

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis George Carlin?

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis

    Thanks, George Carlin.

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis thats because they didnt fight back in unison thats what we need to do we need a great revolution for this country

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis Carlin was awesome.

    Funny name btw :p

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis As a Pakistani-American I feel this law can be used anytime against people of Middle-Eastern origin without any probable cause, this is essentially what is happening in Guantanamo. The decision was made in the supreme court and was never repealed, the government can hold certain peoples during "times of war and national security threats" without probable cause or trial, basically internment camps which still exist today

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis

If you're gonna quote George Carlin, at least give the man credit.

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis Or pass the ninth grade.

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis I hate to be an a-hole, but yeah, is this really news to anyone?

  • @JesusSuckedGayPenis I do belive that what is said in that article is true but Wikipedia is not a valid source, although your username is so awsome it makes my argument invalid.

  • Gitmo has been an eyesore for the US since it was opened. I believe keeping prisoners there w/o trial, or releasing them and ignoring charges are both wrong. The US gov needs to allow all of them a trial, & they need to find a suitable home for those that will be released. I believe the government does NOT want to release any of the prisoners because even IF they were NOT fighting against the US before, they would be now. I am disappointed Obama is not finding a way to end the Gitmo situation.

  • @LiberalViewer There is no way the substantiate the claim that the continuation of policy is more detrimental to the American people than the potential threat of releasing those affected. Even if there was such a way to do so, it is likely that much of the necessary information to make such a judgment is privy to a select few and it stands to reason that the president would be one of these people. National security and secrets turn everything into a giant question mark.

  • gitmo shows us that we're no better than the terrorists holdin american citzens

  • the prison is there so you argue whether or not it should be closed. it's to make you believe that there are criminals but should you keep them or not. you fell for it guys

  • didnt james madison beat virgin tech

  • lets close the prison and just kill the fuckers

  • 14 people are Stephen Colbert

  • Since becoming president, Obama has seen things that the general public will never see. For him to go back on such a widely publicised promise, this evidence must have been very convincing.

As for it being a zoo. Perhaps we should call terrorists sub-human dangerous animals and then the rights issue goes out the window. Oh and by the way, I am a liberal too.

  • @FLUSEM666 or perhaps doing the right thing was just too hard? if these men were terrorists they would be tried and convicted as terrorists. as it stands they are left to rot. can you imagine being held in prison without charge for ten years? how much bitterness and venom would you have built up?

if these men werent terrorists before they were thrown in gitmo they will be if they ever got out. i know i would.
