Hey there Gav, I hope you had a good Xmas and new year. So its been a little over 2 yrs, since I got my VS6, and Im ready for a new guitar, and the paradise comes to mind. Now, no local music shops have them in stock, so if Im going to have to order one, I may as well do it online and get the cheaper price compared to getting it ordered in to a shop. Basically, how does the neck of the AFD compare to the VS6, Thicker? About the same?

sorry bit of a guns n roses perfectionist i didnt take time to think it was downtuned i just was looking at the frets anyway how does the paradise hold up against an epiphone les paul are the pickups hotter and would you rather buy the epiphone slash les paul or the vintage one

@shredmaster100 Im afraid I can't answer that objectively, obviously I think it's a great guitar and plays, looks and sounds fantastic. The pickups are Trev Wilkinson WVHZ's which are based on the original PAF specs, but beefed up a little. What do you think to it? Enjoyed your vids btw.

well i have a new epiphone les paul custom 3 pickup but because they r now made in china the pickups r very basic and i paid 450 pounds for it i have heard other demos of the vintage paradise guitar on youtube and it from what ive seen and heard it is a superior guitar and thanks for looking at my vids youtube has recently changed a lot on my page so im still trying to get it up and running again

Very nice guitar indeed! they're currently stocked by Fox UK Music where I tested one out. Absolutely top sound and overall grand tone. Recommend looking up the store and ordering through them as they'll guarantee a great deal. May be expensive guitars but a very large amount of effort goes into making them!

Great sound!

I just received mine but it has some issues. It doesn't have the round label on the pickup switch; in the joint between the neck and the body I can see the wood, the finish was not good. And also the plastic knobs of the tunners are loose, they make a loud buzzy sound when I play some notes. It's useless! I'm surprised it passed the quality tests. I'm thinking of returning it for a "lemon drop"... hoppefully it will turn out better, according to the reviews.

@gacktology Hi and thanks for your kind comments. I haven't heard the SD pickups you mention so I can't answer that honestly, but the Wilkinson designed humbuckers are based on that original Seth Lover created PAF sound for proper vintage tone and sustain.

have been wanting one of these since i saw the pic of it in the free mag that came with christmas edition guitarist magazine.yours is the first video that i have found to actually show one/play one.does it come with the locking wilkinson tuners? (as it doesn't say on vintage web site) unfortunately won't be able to get one for a while as paying for some rush tickets,but will be getting one as soon as i can.

@FoxDelta86 as explained in the video, it's a set neck, same as all V100's, biggest differences are the Wilkinson WHZ pups, Guitar Tech straplocks and the flame maple veneer.
