Those that say this is fake need to think...who would go to all the trouble to make the boost gauge, speedo and the tach work perfectly as they should in a fake video. FYI even when you hit 100 the road in front doesn't look that fast on video, in reality 100 isn't that much faster then 80. What is impressive and is important is the acceleration especially this kind in a truck. Good video, haters need some brains.

@kennedy796 Hey hes on an automatic. That only applys if your power band is lower. On my truck if I go to 5800 rpm(fuel cutoff at 6000) it drops down to ~3800 rpm and i'm back at the bottom of my power band. Of course if you shift at fuel cut off your slower. I imagine with the blower and stuff, his truck has a higher power band.

The speed limiters on stock Ford trucks vary wildly. The limit many times is dependent on the rear axel ratio. The truck may govern at 93, 95, 110 whatever. What the truck really is protecting against with the speed-limiter is drive-shaft whipping. The computer really isn't monitoring the lateral speed at all but instead monitoring the RPM of the driveshaft and limiting that speed due to that. This is so drivers can drive at top speed reliably for extended periods of time.
With the way that tach is bouncing after shifts i'd have to say your transmission is slipping a little and you can hear it struggling to catch the gear

I'm not going to be so quick calling this fake but there is something off about your mph and the rate of speed at which objects outiside of the truck are moving at. Simple solution....just make another video where we can see your mph and a lil bit outside of the truck. I'm not saying you weren't doing 100 mph its just hard to tell only looking at the gauges. Another thing i noticed is you dont sound like you're hitting 5500 rpm. My truck is almost stock and screams at 5000 rpm.

@burninrock24 dude he's running 15 pounds off boost. One Atmosphere is 14.7. He theoretically doubled the power of the motor just from the supercharger alone. The SAE J1349 horsepower standard is rated at 14.5psi and this 1998 F150 had 260hp @ 4500rpm. So now he would have in the ballpark of 520hp @ 4500rpm - not to mention his engine is built up and runs at a higher RPM to produce more horsepower . It most likely is really just fast.

@hardnasty90 Uhhh.....Almost all ford f-150s have a 100mph speedometer on them. I looked the specifications up on fords website and there is a governor at 95mph like previously stated. Ford lightnings, harley sponsored f-150s, and raptors are the only exceptions.

okay chill the fuck out guys, it just looks like its going so unbelievably fast because the speedo only goes to 100. Just watching the video shows his rolling 10-60mph is like 4 seconds. Thats pretty do-able in a built f150 with 15psi.

@burninrock24 dude he's running 15 pounds off boost. One Atmosphere is 14.7. He theoretically doubled the power of the motor just from the supercharger alone. The SAE J1349 horsepower standard is rated at 14.5psi and this 1998 F150 had 260hp @ 4500rpm. So now he would have in the ballpark of 520hp @ 4500rpm - not to mention his engine is built up and runs at a higher RPM to produce more horsepower . It most likely is really just fast.

@hardnasty90 Uhhh.....Almost all ford f-150s have a 100mph speedometer on them. I looked the specifications up on fords website and there is a governor at 95mph like previously stated. Ford lightnings, harley sponsored f-150s, and raptors are the only exceptions.
