So that's what a magpie looks like, huh? Never saw one before and I'm 56 yrs old.:) Looks like what we call a crow here in the states but crows are all black that has a greenish/blue tinge. They're smart as hell too. Thanks for the song buddy/mate.

Your Southern Hemisphere magpies look a bit different from ours - more white & lacking a shot of shiny blue that ours have on the wings. Pretty birds, but like all corvidae, they sure can make a racket!

I just had to hit Wiki - Australian Magpies aren't in the corvidae family; and the one in your vid looks like a Tasmania Magpie. Did your Magpie have a Kiwi accent?
