Dedede is just a pain in the ass to play as with a ground character like Wolf.

If you have good (repeating) aerial attacks like Ness or Lucas or something like Pikachu's thunder it's not as hard but Dedede's grabs are just too ranged to initiate an aerial assault from someone like Wolf. He'll just block, grab, grab, grab, etc.

against some people you dont get a chance to charge a smash, if your fighting someone good enough like me you wont get a chance, youll get grabbed your smashed or tilted while your charging. dont judge how people fight. plus, de de de is hard to get a charged smash off on someone, they have to much stall time. except his down smash

They should have at least added to grabbing the edge only either grabbing it from behind or "sticking" to it, but not both. Takes too much away from the skill and no real edgehogging. Still takes some skill though.

Well, if it's a tournament with money on the line, and he/she needs the money, of course they would only try to win. If it works, they'll spam it, no matter how much it makes the match boring to watch sometimes. I just don't know how to really chain grab with Dededee (I always miss).

And there is such things as cheap. Metaknight's tornado is somewhat cheap. It has a huge range and you'll most likely get caught in it.

It's called shielding the tornado. Hold L. Easy. I've fought pro's who never get caught in that, just by shielding. Not hard at all. Go to torneys, they'll no damage tornado spam all the time. I'm not saying that n00bs and spamming are OK, but everything has a counter, and I've won lots of fights where my opponent said I was cheap, yet I did nothing cheap of the sort.

the dedede player is good imo i use dedede and i can tell his spaceing and timing isgood. he did however made some mental error .......llike getting under the ship which wolf player took advantage and you notice towards the end dedede player was using up b attack...the one where he sits on you which can easily be punished ......he wasnt use too stage he could of landed in the water figured a safer way of recovering

I never understood why king dedede has such a chance against wolf. He's a large target, slow, and a fairly slow faller - perfect for wolf's juggling and meteor smashes (which I surprisingly did not see many).  Wolf did some amazing moves at 1:52 and 2:37.

I hear that! King Dedede is probably the strongest of the bulky characters! Great Recovery, Deadly Attacks, A variety of moves, and extremely high defense makes Dedede the best heavyweight! The only flaw I see in him is speed and lag time to prepare attacks. Besides that, the Dreamland King is back and ready to pwn!!!
