I have loved this song from the first time I heard it; 1976, on the Capital "Yesterday and Today" album. I hated most contemporary music of that day. But, on a lark bought this album, which introduced me to The Beatles. They've topped my list ever since. Damned good job on the solo guitar for this cover. Great, great cover. But, I miss Lennon's unique vocals, however. But, a great job. Thx for posting this. The Beatles rule!! Lennon was beyond great. He was my favorite Beatle...

The only reason that I don't like this cover is the vocals, the tempo, the loudness of it (the song is supposed to sound lazy as if the listener were drifting off to sleep and the end of the song is the arriving into a dream. Honestly, I can't stand this cover.

Good cover...'cept for the part where the singer forgets about the guitar solo...steps on it with a syllable, and then the guitar player (I can't remember his name...the eldest of the Gallagher brothers) has to look at him afterwards and say "GO." This is a great cover by a very good band- hey-- they are covering the best band that ever was-give them an A for effort- I am quite sure Lennon would like it- its a different more serious version than the original which is obviously more whimsical.

Oasis is a band that I don´t like at all and I love Beatles. However I must say the cover is good. The guitar solo sucks though. He found the right sound and the effect which I think it was the most difficult thing to do. But then, he simply messed with the notes. It´s not a fast solo, so I think he just didn´t bother. But overall, is a pretty good version. Vocals are great too.
