I love how there's always someone in the comments saying "Oh, yeah. You're gonna blow your engine..." Do you realize how long it would take for that to actually happen? If he were to do this once per day, it would take any where from a month to a year, possibly more. Now if he were to do it non-stop, without letting off the throttle, it would take approximately 5mins. 27seconds of a couple redline bounces won't blow your engine.

heres some friendly advice,  if ur goin complete cheap on this one like it sounds, go to a local shop and get a pipe bent, bout seventy bucks, weld some flanges on it, then throw a cheap autozone glass pack, will sound better than that, thats worse than stock man

you are actually the one making an idiot out of yourself. sk8rxpbdude is correct in saying that this is a 2.0L 420a. the 4G63 only came in turbo models. this is non-turbo model. and the second stupid thing you said is that the 4G64 only comes in 00-05 models. look up eclipse GS spyder. has the 2.4L 4G64 engine in it. learn your shit before you go criticizing other people about stuff. sk8rxpbdude is wrong about stroking the 420a tho... do your DSM research before posting!

There is no need for u to bounce off the rev limiter with any car... if u like the sound it makes wen u do that just get launch control... it will make the same sound but do it at a lower rpm around 4500 and is alot safer to do
