I really think this is a great concept. As a true Floridian, the writing for southern and Florida slang would be different. St. Pete is not as country (rural). I believe that a little work on the writing and some more thought into the background of the family would really bring more and this could really be a great sitcom. I would watch anything with Tom Pelphrey anyway. But, a good southern writer could bring so much to this concept.

when Christal Hunt played Lizzie Spaulding (on Guiding Light) I really couldn't keep her and Tammy straight, I think they look a lot alike, so her and Tom together is almost like a Jammy reunion, even though it's not.

I hope this is a big hit. As expected , Crystal is beautiful and getting Catherine Hickland to play her mother is big plus. Roxy is great too. Unfortunately, I didn't find it very funny - there's only a couple funny lines in 10 minutes and they're both by buffoon father. Needs work, but shows lots of promise. Good luck!!

Crystal you have a great concept but some of the scenes should be tweaked for timing purposes. Like when Vern and Violet found the cleaning lady passed out. Just a big too long of a pause there. I'm only being critical because I DO want you to succeed at this. I love the 'hillbilly in new york' theme. The content is pretty good to be just starting off, KUDOS to you and your crew! Be proud!
