  • But the dance form is not quite the Middle Ages... :-(

  • ''Greensleeves" its song from early 16 century, as author caled Henry VIII.

  • @TheFartingElf So you know more than me ;)

  • @TheFartingElf England became Christian in 7th century, I do not think this song is older than this.

  • Thumbs up for year 6!!!!!!!

  • I rather enjoyed this video for I have danced this myself.

  • what is the song

  • @NWizzy15 It's called ''Greensleeves''. There's a link in the video description that will tell you about it.

  • Kelly Family's song...? ;* I get confused... whether the Kelly Family have taken a medieval song as their inspiration, or is it just adapted to a medieval style by these dancers for the show...? :-) I like it. Greetings!

  • The music is an old Christmas Carol, not to be danced at all.

  • les costumes sont magnifiques !

  • The way that hot stud in the red robe moves makes my down south tingle with sensation

  • @satik818 you should be punished by the queen of the castle !! :)

  • @drflokk As long as it's not the Queen of Hearts...

  • Dieser video ist sehr schön und man kann tanzen lernen!! very good!

  • Greensleevees is a renascen song and not medieval. But is a beaty dance :)

  • greensleves great song and great dance

  • their dance was soooo cool and their dresses and what i liked even more, their distance from each other was perfect i love it <3

  • the dresses *__* wonderful *__*

  • so simple yet beautiful!

  • This would go great with some Lil' Jon music!

  • Parece el baile de las presentaciones...je, je.

  • no asi se baila en las ferias mejor dichofiestas medievales que hay por aca en europa!

  • pizza :D

  • this is cute!

  • I love your group dance. So beautiful ^^

  • How about appreciating other centuries. They were no less inferior then this one.

  • quasi medieval clothes...

  • I am working on learning this dance with some of my friend. and the song is what child is this it is a christmas song and the dresses are very historical they are just not on this side of the world so stop accusing the designer

  • Music is the Renaissance and clothes are fantasy. This is not even a medieval history.

  • what is the name of the music??

  • Well, dresses aren't very historical acurate... :/ That green one probobly had to be a bliaut, but should be sewn in completely different way. But I like their dancing... Cold somebody say, what's the name for this dance (music is "Greensleeves" I gues...)

  • This dance seems to be a modern fantasy, but there is indeed a dance "Greensleeves" to the wellknown tune. It´s an English contra from the 1690s editions of the "Dancing Master", edited by Henry Playford and - later - John Young, in 1706 copied by Raoul-Auger Feuillet as "Le Manches Vertes". Search in the web also for these titles !

  • the music is the wrong period for their dress.....

  • Sorry for mistakes... (blushing)

  • The dresses are great, it's an absolute sod trying to make dresses if you haven't got a proper pattern to follow. Mind you have you tried to make a 18th C Corset????

  • Well, dresses are nice, if you mean, how they look. They look great! But that's rather a phantasy costume than a historical one... ;)

  • @annakleevs However, that spelling is rather historic.

  • I am working on learning this dance with some of my friends. It's so fun!!!

  • were did the woman in the green dress get that dress because its sooooooooooo cool

  • All the costumes were home made by ladies, inspired by medieval models.

  • cool

  • i like this kind of song sometimes, other than classical music - because it's relaxing and it helps me to stay focus and calm with my work and even helps me to go to sleep when i find it difficult to sleep at night.

  • I love this kind of thing ~ so graceful and lovely.

  • Foarte frumos...asta unde era?

  • La Castelul Corvinilor Hunedoara

  • Nice.. Very nice.. :)

  • nice. is that a Christmas carol?

  • Its Greensleeves a very old song. It also is What Child is This, a Christmas carol.

  • greensleeves was possibly wriiten by Henry VIII to one of his wives

  • @FamilyGuy3101 Yes it is an english old christmas carol

  • Niiiice dancing and so cool looking!

  • Thank you for this comment.

  • It's like slow-mo 18th century dancing
