  • 0:41 "No pressure" lol

  • Us Americans have no sense of privacy

  • @yankeeJimwestler Everybody thought the 1984-esque reality would be from things like the Patriot Act.

In fact the biggest invasion of our privacy comes from our addiction to social media and our vanity in thinking the world must be made aware of the everyday minutia in our lives.

  • 1:14 samuel l jackson; ''I have had it with these motherfucking proposal on this motherfucking plane!''

  • So this is the lost episode of LOST season 10.

  • haaah.... i nearly had a heart attack. from looking at that girl in the thumbnail, she looked exactly like my cousin who's in South Korea for a year to teach kids.

  • Did the Fiance' ask her Father for her hand in Marriage first? Congratulations. Hope God is in this.

  • @Brucev7 What the hell? Why should the old man be bothered? It's between the man and the woman who get married. Not like he father owns her like a cattle or something.

  • @Imrankniazi It is custom in our Country, the United States. What Country are you from, living?

  • @Brucev7 I know couples from your country, the United States. Not one of the men bothered to ask for someone else's permission because quite simply, it was an adult woman they were marrying. An adult woman of sane mental disposition who has the right to give or refuse permission of her own accord.

The same adult women who, I believe, also have the right to case votes to decide the future of your country. Or does the woman's father make a decision there too?

  • @Imrankniazi /*cast votes*/

  • @Imrankniazi Again, it is customary to ask a Father for his daughter's hand in Marriage. That is all.

  • @Brucev7 Middle-aged custom, IMHO. As humanity moves into the 21st century, nonsensical old customs ought to change as well. A lot of people in my generation (early-mid 20s) have stopped caring about these things so hopefully, they'd die out in a decade or so.

  • @Imrankniazi It is Respectful. has nothing to do with time. That is relative to opinion. And why your generation is in trouble Morally. The Old Ways are the best ways.

  • @Brucev7 I'd respectfully disagree. Ways, customs and practices change with time. And people change along with them. I am all for being cordial and decent with the parents, but asking for their approval in a personal decision is quite far-fetched, IMHO.

Arranged marriages were a norm once too but have now been discarded. People who have to make the relationship work should be the ones making the decision - that is the man and the woman who plan to get married.

  • @Imrankniazi Actually it has not. And there are far deeper reasons than just one person deciding they're not going to follow customs and traditions. A rational person just doesn't to decide to change a custom, tradition on a whim.

  • @Brucev7 One person never changes anything. And neither is there any whimsical about this. A series of changes sweep through time as people, cultures and nations evolve. For better or for worse, human civilisation has always been in a state of transition and most likely, that would be the case.

Chivalry, as defined by a 7th century A.D. Germanic tribesman would be a lot different from the way that term is understood by a modern day software engineer living in Cologne, for instance.

  • @Imrankniazi I think you will find that many still keep customs and traditions. It is not only out of respect, but is unity.

  • @Imrankniazi My fiance asked my mother for her blessing to ask my hand in marriage, not her permission really. He then gathered together our closest friends on New Years and proposed at Midnight by going down on one knee, offering a ring and saying a beautiful poem. Tradition got us together in the first place when he courted me for 3 months before we went on our first proper date...I believe romantic ettiquette has its place. It means they put effort into it.

  • @Musemistress Great story. Cheers!

I can appreciate the blessing part. It's approval that I don't seek. In any case, when two kids in love get together, I'm sure that on 9 out of 10 cases, the parents' blessings and good wishes would be with them.

  • Planes are cool! And getting proposed in one is EVEN cooler!

Ditto for planes! Talk about Love in the clouds, high above ;P

  • god damnit, why can't cool shit like this happen on my flights.....nooo, i gotta get stuck sitting next to the lady who's baby cries for 6 straight hours..FUCK!!! Honestly, I understand that you have to fucking travel with your newborn but god damnit doctors need to start prescribing some sorta light tranquilizer that will just let those babies sleep it off til we get there!

  • @xitup1 LMFAO!!!!

  • @xitup1 lol

  • @xitup1 You're a grown guy; you can be patient ^^;

  • @xitup1 at least you get to sit next to them and might get the chance to switch. I, on the other hand, have to see them at least twice a month cuz I'm a flight attendant. And not only that, but also ignorant passengers asking me to silent the baby as if I could... I'm up for those liqht tranquilizers! lol

  • @xitup1

Dude.... You were fine... The baby sitting next to me pooped..

  • @keonwoo524 OH SHIT!!

    pun definitely intended :p

  • Talk about getting into the mile high club.

  • good thinkg for them that sept 11 was long back..

  • Pissed if she had said no, what an awkward plane journey that would have been! Could have been a bit more romantic haha!

  • some guy walks out of the bathroom and is like "THE FUCK?"

  • Why on a plane? I'd think of something a bit more romantic. But, she said yes. That's good!

  • ...she could of said yes...n later tell him no in private...

So what would their paperwork say anyway?...where were they married?..

  • @kornshadow097 proposing to someone isn't getting married to them..the paperwork will say the location of wherever the registry is or the location of their marriage ceremony.

  • Imagine if she said no, sittin' there for the rest of the flight haha

  • Al Qaïda wedding... BOOOOOOM!!

  • best ever...never seen this before...

  • What if she would've said no??? :O

  • that could of been an awkward flight...

  • wow damnnnn way to cute

  • Ass grow some balls and do it alone fucking ass I hope you get your ass dumped when you land

  • fuck i just bought these headphones

  • wow lucky girl hahaha thats my dream lol god bless you both yaaaaaaay

  • she has to say yes, she has to fly there with him, but it was cute haha

  • Lmfao at the comment below me hahaha!!!

  • @athmpsn242 A very ignorant comment.

  • @TheMissQatar How so?

  • @athmpsn242 You do realize you're being ignorant and racist against Muslims, right? You lot think every Muslim is a terrorist. That's pretty sad.

  • @DarkOblivion93 You do realize you're not being that bright, right? "Muslim" in this case is merely an adjective to provide more description to a made-up situation. At no point did I state that all terrorists are Muslim or that all Muslims are terrorists. Any perceived insinuation to that effect is likely a greater representation of your own bias than my own. For homework: please review the definition of 'racist' so that you can use it appropriately from now on. Thanks!

  • @athmpsn242 You, sir, clearly said "Muslim terrorist." That IS ignorant and it basically implies to everyone else that only Muslims are terrorists but I apologize for not understanding the implication of the way you said "Muslim terrorist," in the first place.

  • @DarkOblivion93 Ignorant? The US State Department maintains a list of international terrorist organizations, which makes it clear that not all terrorists are Muslim. The FBI, however, maintains statistics and analysis of terrorist attacks going back into the '80s, which reveal that radical Islamic groups are responsible for ~95% of American fatalities from such attacks. If you could accurately consider non-American civilian fatalities from regional jihad movements, the numbers would skyrocket.

  • @athmpsn242 nah thats not true. actually the majority -80% are white americans. or other white races that have been responsible for fatalities in america we just like to blame the radicals to justify invasions and murders.

  • YAY!

  • amazing....
