  • Free refills go to Pizza Hut

  • But you can have free refills in Nandos.

  • London is like the world in a city. If you did a straw poll on the tube you'd find most people are not from the UK. English people will hold back a bit but once they get to know you they will be your friend for life. If someone is overtly charming & smiling & loud it comes across as insincere & like they want something from you. London is also a densely populated capital. People have long days and a hard commute so you are not catching them at their best. It's not a true reflection of the UK.

  • english breakfast is the best try being hungover and eating egg bacon beans and fried bread sorts you right out,,, and no america i dont want my fucking eggs over easy

  • English breakfast iffy?! What the fuck, English breakfast is the best kind of breakfast. Ever.

  • @wolfthing11 Actually most of us can name lots of US states (between me and my friends when we were at school we could easily name all of them) its not really that hard...

  • Americans overall talk too loud.

  • If we were to name all 50 states, I bet 90% of brits can only name california, new york, and texas.

  • The overriding theme here seems to be "were gonna have to pay to get fat" and "everythings so much more expensive" (until get into an accident then get free healthcare)!

  • It seems the former colonies have become moronic.

  • He lies so much

    NO ONE likes portsmouth

  • British food is iffy, cool stereotype America. Oh America, I like you but you always go on about how inferior our food is, for shame.

  • You're right London is expensive. But there are areas in America that are more expensive than others I assume.

  • You can get refills. Go to Nandos or Subway. And what's wrong with bacon, beans and mushrooms. It doesn't stop Americans from eating them. Oh, and the reason why we don't speak on the tube is because there is no cellphone signals.

  • why is it socially unacceptable to sit near to someone on a bus/public transport if theres other seats available? try out peruvian buses where ur personal space is about 3cm and theres tunes banging out and people jumpin on n off non stop and u realise how depressing british buses and attitudes are....on a side note the guy being interviewed here is a prat sayin shit like 'cellphones are international now'....not everything comes out of america ffs

  • Just to say the reason why noone talks on the tube is because if someone talks to you you either.. (get robbed, bum raped, get talking to a crazy person, offered drugs, stabbed, or abuse, the only other conversation would be about the weather) as you can see all of these things are undesirable to talk about, so on the tube most people dont talk because they dont want to be in a claustrophic container that stinks of piss / vomit

  • I love the way your discussing the british as a different species haha! :)

  • people had no swagg back then....

  • OK to clear something up here, Britain is not London. Americans if you want to get an impression of British culture you need to go to cities like Chester, Leeds, Brighton. Those are cities that actually reflect British culture London does not. Its a great place to be but because it is such a metropole city it can not reflect culture properly.

  • twofotyPEEEE

  • Goodenough haha

  • you can get refills in subway and nandos. i dont no what that girls talking about

  • London is so different so a lot of the rest of the UK, and we do have other things for breakfast. And not talking on the tube, defiantly just a London thing, if you where on a train in the north, it would be completely different.

  • "Organization" has a different pronunciation in both British and American English.

  • He's right about the tube (London Underground, whatever you call it). It's the same with buses and trains. In the UK we generally keep to ourselves and mind our own business. You find people are more talkative to strangers in the North of England, but we're all less sociable with strangers than Americans.

  • Love at the end when he started mentioning the other countries in GB then mentioned a city then back up to a county!!

  • It's underground not tube

  • life style to me in the uk is , work work work ...ROLL ON FRIDAY AND GETTING PISSED

  • Funnily enough about that thing with the tube, is that I am from a fairly small town in the county of staffordshire in the west midlands, and I also noticed the difference in London that you mentioned. However like any place, the culture of the people changed from area to area, as where im from people often strike up a conversation at bus stops and in the street quite regularly. Someone has pointed out to me, that Londoners had to live through the 7/7 bombings so are more wary on the tube.

  • Baked beans is good

  • Mexican food in the UK must be disgusting!

  • @Dslater417 How would it be disgusting?

  • @TeenagePrinccess Well, I live in California, which has great authentic Mexican cuisine, considering how close we are to Mexico. However, in New York, with a large Mexican population as well, pales in comparison to the Mexican food in San Diego. I actually went to a few what was supposed to be a really good Mexican restaurants and it was terrible, they didn't even have molé! After trying Mexican in New York with many Mexicans in New York, you can see ho Mexican food in London might be disgusting

  • @Dslater417 ohhhh , i see lol. Makes sense now. Interesting. =)

  • on the underground ppl dont tlk coz their scared they gunna get shanked or blown up...

  • I am 29 and I live in the UK. I have visited the U.S. 5 times and the difference is Americans are much politeful, houses are bigger + different inside, all drive on the right, gotta pay tips.

I prefer the UK lifestyle to be honest but i prefer the HOT Summers and sightseeing over there.

  • @Scrabbler27 lol tipping is not recommended, I never tip in my life living in America.

  • How can you have a discussion about Uk and Usa without anyone from the UK?

  • Why is mushrooms and tomatoes wierd for breakfast?! U eat potatoes, bolied eggs, muffins and pancakes : /.... sick man!

  • Can i just say that, if you ever come to the UK again go to different parts of the UK such as Wales. Not Everyone in the UK is English and not every speaks English! London is the typical stereotype of the UK, try going to a small village instead of a massive city! Its completely different!!!!

  • Why when American people talk about the UK, they only talk about London? London is only ONE city in the UK.

  • mosty when people go on vacation they go to the most popular cities like if you went to America you would go to California Florida or new york

If I asked you what my state was like Pennsylvania would you be able to tell me prob not cuzz not really any thing exciting to see here in my state

  • @plzIneedhelp All three states suck lol , penn is alright

  • @plzIneedhelp i didnt even know that was a real place

  • @plzIneedhelp cows. Cows are exciting

  • @plzIneedhelp It's different in Europe though, because places have hundreds of years of history and have had time to develop very individual cultures and historical buildings and artefacts.

  • And its a dump

  • @xtrashed London to us is like New York to you? It's the most recognizable city in the UK I assume.

  • @xtrashed Lol- because most visitors to Britain only go to London. They rarely visit all the other beautiful cities in the British Isles. Lack of education here in the States contributes to the ignorance, I'm afraid.

  • @xtrashed : Well The English dont exactly talk about South Carolina.....more like California, NY, etc .............It's because it's well known......same with Paris, we associate that with France, etc

  • @xtrashed because it's the capital of England, and many people associate English culture with that city.

  • @xtrashed why when british people talk about the US they only talk about New York City? New York City is only ONE city in the US, and its because my country is soo fucking stupid the only UK city they know is London

  • one thing.. USA cities are famous all over in the world while UK, i don't think so?? i only know LONDON... lol...

  • We Americans speak more faster than British, but thanks to all of you brothers;]

  • lol.. i noticed that.. and i'm asian.. i can tell what's the difference..

  • @naksnaks625 I find americans talk painfully slowly.

  • i prefer english, a way better.

  • You're right, we don't talk much on public transport in London. American food is by far a lot better.

It's the same in Germany tho.

  • EnzoRDS--you're right. The original title of the video was supposed to deal with only London and, basically, Syracuse, NY. However, something got miscommunicated when it was aired and the title changed. However, I do agree--I visited most of England, Scotland, and Wales and would certainly agree that people in London are quite different than those I encountered elsewhere. My apologies if anyone was offended.

  • @ryguy417 I agree, I've lived my entire life in the English countryside, been to London 3 times, everytime I go it's incredibly difficult to adjust to.

  • @DeadlyAntenna One of the main differences, I think, is what the man mentioned about us being very private, in the country everyone's really friendly and sociable and welcoming, you can go out on your own for a pint and make 10 new friends, in London, the vast majority of people I met or encountered were very closed off, reserved, and private.

  • Interesting he talked about "London". "London" is very different to other parts of the UK. People in London are more hostile, and less talkative to strangers, whereas people in the north are more open. There is different cultures in the UK. It's like a Brit going to Los Angeles, and talking as if he's seen the whole of America. People are different in all the cities of the UK, London is different. People in Liverpool are so different to the people of London for example.

  • yeah was pretty intresting..i have always wondered about the cultural diffarances between thhe 2 allies.

  • Interesting, good job :)
