  • so is that polycarbonate vinyl (whatever) stuff the same material they make the pinokios out of?

  • Most high-end loaders are made from polycarbonate these days. It's not vinyl, it's a resin thermoplastic, which is very strong. It's often used for making "bullet proof" windows.

  • Thanks for that Pig, always educating me in the wonderful world of paintball.

  • jeezzz. i just got one for $100. since they stopped making them im gona keep it and sell it for a fortune later wen its rare.

  • Yeah. Procaps won.

  • no, draxxus won, hence why procaps cant sell pulses anymore

  • That doesn't make sense. DraXxus is a brand owned by Procaps. If DraXxus won, that would mean Procaps could sell them.

  • sorry, my bad, right after i posted the comment i realized that draxxus is procaps. i got mixed up with them and kee

  • can anyone tell me where to get one of these?

  • ebay

  • They started selling in October 2006, and stopped selling a few months later, under court order.

  • y did they stop makeing them?

  • KEE Action Sports (company that makes the HALO and Reloader loaders) filed a lawsuit against Procaps (distributor of the Pulse) and a judge issued orders that the Pulse may not be marketed/sold until the suit is resolved.

  • what is the lawsuit for? like whats the issue?

  • KEE's claim was that the person who designed the Pulse had worked with KEE on a similar loader project previously, and it was a violation of their agreement to go work with a competitor, and that the Pulse violated trade dress of the HALO (looked too similar.)

  • So is there an estimated time of when the court order will be resolved? Or is the pulse doomed, and nobody will get one?

  • yeah, and its totally gay. cuz i want this loader, i dont care who gets the rights to it, just make it available to buy! lol

  • i found one brand new! I just bought it yesterday im so happy :) hahaha

  • pulse will own a halo b reloader b or magna anyday i dont care wat anyone says and the almost tied with velocity

  • damn where can i get one.

  • dont make um anymore but i have one

  • did he say procraps at :43

  • does anyone no where you can get just the pulse shell

  • my feed neck on my pulse broke there crap i dont know why they would make such a short feedneck

  • wat the hell....u cant buy these no more....cuz of some lawsuit ......does anybody kno where i can get a pulse???

  • ill sell u mine. brand new never used. only drop tested once. no scratches or anything. and it has the black board so it dosent short out with reballs and has the good hammer shells not the crappy ones. the loader itself is all black. masage me.

  • hell yea man, i'll buy that, how much?

  • u can still buy them...they're just hard to find. They aren't illegal or anything, they just don't make 'em anymore.

  • go to google and type pulse loader i found 1

  • its extremely light, i love mine, ive owned vlocitys, jrs, eggs, reloaders, halo's and i love this thing. it all comes down to personal preference, and i love mine

  • if u can find a shop that sells them then ur good but most shops sold all there stock already and cant get more because the makers of the halo loaders filed a lawsuit because the pulse looks just like the halos except a couple of features but they a still great loaders

  • help me find this channel???please

  • This channel is webcast at WARPIG - go to the video tab there.

  • thanks man

  • 2 good ideas came out of this loader/fiasco- using lens material as loader shells and the ability to tear the mechanics out of the ball reservoir.

  • Using polycarbonate is not a new idea. ViewLoader has been doing it since 2001, HALO has always done it - search +polycarbonate +revolution at WARPIG. The Pulse is just the first one where the people selling it demonstrated its strength by driving a nail.

  • pulse loaders suck empire b2 loaders are better

  • i saw some up in canada for sale whats up with that

  • Presently KEE Action Sports (which owns the HALO loaders) has a lawsuit against Procaps (who makes the Pulse.) The court issued an injunction that keeps them from making/selling the Pulse until the lawsuit is settled.

  • sucks that you still cant buy that laoder......i want to get it

  • PMR.....

  • dp fusion is better than both of those markers

  • uh, no

  • Definatly get a PMR ...

  • whats better the smart parts epiphany or a proto matrix rail can you please tell me

  • PMR, by far

  • i would take the ION for sure

  • help- im buying a new marker, and trying to stay within the 250$ range. Iv narrowed it down to a Smart Parts Ion (stock), Kingman Spyder Pilot, and a Tippmann 98 custom pro ACT with e-grip. WHich one should i pick

and yes i am a kinda noob to paintball, only played for about a year, but am tired of paying constant fees for crappy rental 98 customs at the fields.

  • keep in mind that if you buy an ion, youll also have to buy a HPA tank and a fast loader.

  • u can actually put a rip on a pulse cause my friend did it.. but he has a high rise feedneck if you have a low ride scince thefeedtube is so cut down it wont clar the marker.

  • It is possible to do - the axle lines up in the right place - there's just no point to it. With a HALO, when the batteries die, if you turn the rip, it winds the drive cone spring, and it will feed paintballs as the marker needs them.

  • With the Pulse there is no drive cone spring, so if the batteries died, you would have to turn the wheel enough to feed one ball each time as you pulled the trigger. It would not work like a HALO Rip. The other reason for them on a HALO is unjamming - to back of the spring tension. There is no need for that with the Pulse because there is no spring tension to back off, and it already automatically backs off its tension as it pulses.

  • So yes, it is possible to put a rip drive on one, but there's no real point to it. It's like putting curb feelers on a bicycle. Yeah, they can be mounted on there - but you can already see the curb while riding a bike so they are just extra weight and parts sticking out.

  • $150 for a hopper seems kind of expense and you need to buy the bluetooth chip for $30 for it to have its full capabilities.

  • Is there a rip for the Pulse, and which is better, 29v. or 6AA's?

  • There is no rip for the Pulse. A rip wouldn't work for the pulse because it doesn't have a spring in its drive cone to wind up like the HALO. 6AAs will give you more amperage.

  • i heard these were heavy and the battery only last for like one day. is that true?

  • NO ive had my pulse for about a month now, and im still using the same bateries when i first got it, and ive used this heavily, i strongly recommend it to anybody, ive had no problems with it so far

  • yeah--I've played mine 7-8 full days, plus messin around in between, and 1st set of batteries. I think you may be thinking about the Halo's which do eat up batteries pretty quickly.

  • ya my feedneck hasn't broke, but my friends feedneck broke on his pulse

  • i bought it on ebay so theres no way to take it back

  • Feednecks break too easily 3 of them broke already this week...

  • i just bought one but the tray broke wat do i do to get it fixed?

  • take it back and trade it in

  • send it vto dxs return ships free and fix is free

  • yeah

  • Id recommend it....Awesome

  • any 1 got 1 that wants to trade the pulse for a halo V35?

  • i have this hopper and i HIGHLY recomomend it it is awsome no problems wut so ever and has a great battery lifetime

  • I picked up a sample for review at World Cup, and the RF transmitter was not included. They had them there, but they were not packaged with the loader, and had no instruction sheets yet for the transmitter.

  • maximus is a horrible carpenter hahahhaah

  • Thats sweet!!! But will the Chip or what ever u put on ur board in ur gun come w/ the hopper or do we have to buy it separate. Also how hard will it be to put it onto the board in the gun? O and buy the way, Maximus sucks at being a carpender... :)

  • i just bought one of these babies off compulsive... but im very confused and anxious about whether ill get the rf module, or whether ill have to buy it separately

  • Its $150...

  • Nice Vid. How much is this "Pulse", Where can i get it? Ty

  • Price will depend on the dealer you buy it from. Any dealer who carries products from ProCaps Direct (DraXxus brand paints, etc.) can get them for you if they don't have them in stock yet.

  • The suggested retail price for the Pulse is $160 (note, I listed a lower price in reply to this post earlier - that was a mistake - I checked the Pulse price and was given the Grill price.) The RF transmitter module has a suggested retail price of $35.
