Most high-end loaders are made from polycarbonate these days. It's not vinyl, it's a resin thermoplastic, which is very strong. It's often used for making "bullet proof" windows.

They started selling in October 2006, and stopped selling a few months later, under court order.

KEE Action Sports (company that makes the HALO and Reloader loaders) filed a lawsuit against Procaps (distributor of the Pulse) and a judge issued orders that the Pulse may not be marketed/sold until the suit is resolved.

KEE's claim was that the person who designed the Pulse had worked with KEE on a similar loader project previously, and it was a violation of their agreement to go work with a competitor, and that the Pulse violated trade dress of the HALO (looked too similar.)

ill sell u mine. brand new never used. only drop tested once. no scratches or anything. and it has the black board so it dosent short out with reballs and has the good hammer shells not the crappy ones. the loader itself is all black. masage me.

its extremely light, i love mine, ive owned vlocitys, jrs, eggs, reloaders, halo's and i love this thing. it all comes down to personal preference, and i love mine

if u can find a shop that sells them then ur good but most shops sold all there stock already and cant get more because the makers of the halo loaders filed a lawsuit because the pulse looks just like the halos except a couple of features but they a still great loaders

2 good ideas came out of this loader/fiasco- using lens material as loader shells and the ability to tear the mechanics out of the ball reservoir.

Using polycarbonate is not a new idea. ViewLoader has been doing it since 2001, HALO has always done it - search +polycarbonate +revolution at WARPIG. The Pulse is just the first one where the people selling it demonstrated its strength by driving a nail.

Presently KEE Action Sports (which owns the HALO loaders) has a lawsuit against Procaps (who makes the Pulse.)  The court issued an injunction that keeps them from making/selling the Pulse until the lawsuit is settled.

help- im buying a new marker, and trying to stay within the 250$ range. Iv narrowed it down to a Smart Parts Ion (stock), Kingman Spyder Pilot, and a Tippmann 98 custom pro ACT with e-grip. WHich one should i pick

u can actually put a rip on a pulse cause my friend did it.. but he has a high rise feedneck if you have a low ride scince thefeedtube is so cut down it wont clar the marker.

It is possible to do - the axle lines up in the right place - there's just no point to it.  With a HALO, when the batteries die, if you turn the rip, it winds the drive cone spring, and it will feed paintballs as the marker needs them.

With the Pulse there is no drive cone spring, so if the batteries died, you would have to turn the wheel enough to feed one ball each time as you pulled the trigger. It would not work like a HALO Rip. The other reason for them on a HALO is unjamming - to back of the spring tension. There is no need for that with the Pulse because there is no spring tension to back off, and it already automatically backs off its tension as it pulses.

So yes, it is possible to put a rip drive on one, but there's no real point to it. It's like putting curb feelers on a bicycle. Yeah, they can be mounted on there - but you can already see the curb while riding a bike so they are just extra weight and parts sticking out.

Is there a rip for the Pulse, and which is better, 29v. or 6AA's?

There is no rip for the Pulse. A rip wouldn't work for the pulse because it doesn't have a spring in its drive cone to wind up like the HALO. 6AAs will give you more amperage.

NO ive had my pulse for about a month now, and im still using the same bateries when i first got it, and ive used this heavily, i strongly recommend it to anybody, ive had no problems with it so far

yeah--I've played mine 7-8 full days, plus messin around in between, and 1st set of batteries. I think you may be thinking about the Halo's which do eat up batteries pretty quickly.

I picked up a sample for review at World Cup, and the RF transmitter was not included. They had them there, but they were not packaged with the loader, and had no instruction sheets yet for the transmitter.

Price will depend on the dealer you buy it from. Any dealer who carries products from ProCaps Direct (DraXxus brand paints, etc.) can get them for you if they don't have them in stock yet.
