same im a local too best beach going when its 15 foot higher soo good =p the reef on the right for bodybboarding and a little to the left of that one for the surfers and shops every were and sunny weather so i gues were all happy =p (^_^)

coogee beach is awesome i live near the beach and i love it the ice cream incident was just one time theres a better ice cream place up the road called gelatisimo or something like that

Coogee is a mix between a village and a city, its fantastic there, its run by the Brits. A few years ago the Virgin Mary passed there but she didn't like the ice cream so she left.

hello from a POM. Nice video. Lived in Randwick for a year and loved Cooggee.  I think it was better than Bondi. If you walk the coastal path to Bondi its wonderful with about 3 or 4 other beaches in between. Look out for Clovelly its cute. Good luck to all you aussies in 2009 - LUCKY BASTARDS.
