This is incredibly helpful, thankyou. Is this a school project? I am very impressed if it is. I am using it in my KS3 lessons to teach this complicated idea; I thought you'd like to know!
Hahahaha! I didn't think people actually took this seriously. These continents are not lilly pads floating around in a bath tub. There is dirt underneath. They don't just slam into each other and create a mountain range.
The top 3000 ft of Mt Everest is loaded with clams, btw.
"Himalayas rising 2cm each year" no one knows that. Even if it was true, the erosion rates are faster than that. This is a dumb theory.
See my website article "Geology and the Global Flood" for more details.
@creationliberty Global flood? there isn't enough water on earth to do that, they've worked it out, just like they worked out that the himilayas are being pushed up by 2cm each year. The exact same laws of physics apply to continental shift as 'lilly pads floating around in a bath tub'. It takes millions of years and astronomical forces but this is widely accepted as what is happening, sorry if you can't get your head around that.
very very beautiful...i was searching about the place where india used to be like a billion years ago or like that... i wanted to find out if there is relationship between species in africa and india cos they might have migrated from there to the part where india used to be... very useful info
