4- The iPhone was the first phone of its kind. All other smartphones had keyboards tons of buttons, u can look it up. iPhone revolutionized the phone market.
1. And if Apple releases a larger iPhone, what then? It'll fit "more perfectly" into the hand? And PPI is only that high BECAUSE it has a small screen. If it's any bigger, it loses the 300 PPI the "retina" display is touted for.
2. Nokia phones have historically had the best cameras on their phone. And the iPhone camera is a Sony one. Still great, regardless.
3. iOS5 is reported to have more app crashes than Android.
It's pathetic that people actually fight over phones. Do you really need that much validation? I've had Android, Windows Phone 7 and iOS devices. I currently have an iPhone, because frankly, it just works. It's a well rounded and easy to use device. I loved Android because of it's open customization, and Windows Phone had excellent Social Network integration. Each has their strengths & weaknesses, there's no better device because it's all subjective, what works for me, might not work for you.
I really think it's hilarious when people keep thinking "iPhone just works." like the other devices don't "just work." That's not the case. iPhone is easy and is good for the technologically challenged, but that also means you're basically stuck on training wheels. Android is for people who think outside the box and wonder what all is possible. It's more mature. But, I am definitely leaning to WP7 as my next device.

Considering I have a Computer Science degree, I wouldn't call myself technologically challenged. However, iPhone does cater towards the tech impaired, being easy to use, but I wouldn't call that a bad thing. But with the option to jailbreak, you're getting the more tech savvy option of more customization.
I admit the Android began pretty rocky but after the Evo 4G came out last year, things worked extremely well. You can't really judge the platform by the poorer hardware. But I do admit that Apple is much better at hardware acceleration. And, no, I wouldn't say being easy to use is a bad thing either. However, with that ease, comes sacrifices, mainly customization. And the jailbreak is a loser argument as a lot feel it isn't an option.

I had an iphone, but after playing around with a SGSII at the mall for five minutes I discovered that its just too small. honestly, I do not see myself going back to a 3.5 screen any more. Android dual core phones for the most part get excellent battery life. 4G/LTE is a battery hog and that's something the iPhone 4s lacks. 3g and 2g consumes less power and we all know that even still dual core Android phones can get you thru a day or even longer. um the GSII has superior battery life to any iPhone, it's only because you have 4G enabled, try 3G and I guarantee that it'd last 1 and a half days with moderate use. It's not the widgets, but hey at least it has them.
I thought this was a comparison between the two phones in terms of function, design, performance etc, but unfortunately all we got is a rather one sided view. It certainly didn't help me in making my mind up as to which phone I need to buy. I don't need a brochure type of hype for the 4s.

S2 does not win by a landslide. The 4S is faster then the S2 in many different area's. Check the bench marks for yourself. Just because the S2 is advertised with a dual core 1.5gh Processor, does not automatically make it faster and better. To be honest, after 1 Ghrtz, you barely notice the speed difference in these "high end" android phones. Not to mention the inconsistency of android phones and the o so not smooth UI. iPhone you can expect to be smooth, consistent, and better overall.
Another point, Siri uses a shit load of data! I went to the states with my unlocked 4s, bought a AT&T sim and I ran out of money on it in a couple days of using it.

Android dual core phones for the most part get excellent battery life. 4G/LTE is a battery hog and that's something the iPhone 4s lacks. 3g and 2g consumes less power and we all know that even still dual core Android phones can get you thru a day or even longer. Show some tests....other sites like Engadget show battery life tests. You are just talking.

I really like galaxy s2 but....it is still too expensive,it still cost in a lot of stores almost 500 euros while it has a year in the market and others like htc evo 3d cost 350 euros in many stores?Samsung you should be reasonable,also they make every month a new similar phone with similar design,they got a red card from me for that cause they don't make a difference from the rip off fruit at all!

um the GSII has superior battery life to any iPhone, it's only because you have 4G enabled, try 3G and I guarantee that it'd last 1 and a half days with moderate use. It's not the widgets, but hey at least it has them.

I thought this was a comparison between the two phones in terms of function, design, performance etc, but unfortunately all we got is a rather one sided view. It certainly didn't help me in making my mind up as to which phone I need to buy. I don't need a brochure type of hype for the 4s.

S2 does not win by a landslide. The 4S is faster then the S2 in many different area's. Check the bench marks for yourself. Just because the S2 is advertised with a dual core 1.5gh Processor, does not automatically make it faster and better. To be honest, after 1 Ghrtz, you barely notice the speed difference in these "high end" android phones. Not to mention the inconsistency of android phones and the o so not smooth UI. iPhone you can expect to be smooth, consistent, and better overall.
