  • My life goal... To raise tigers or build nice little jungle or something that tigers might like and kick the ass out of deforestation.

  • I don't know...the tiger doesn't look like a peaceful Buddhist.

  • I went there last summer. they explained to me that you take pictures with the tigers after they eat so they are more relaxed. also they feed them chicken so we seem less appealing for them to eat. its a pretty amazing experience and i would recommend it to anybody who is in or is going to Thailand.

  • i want one so no one fuck with me

  • love the animal

  • @THELOUDROAR LIER! YOU SAID YOUR CONPUTER WAS BROKEN!!! :@

  • they dont roam free at all...

  • Big cat.

  • Google the book Behind the Cloak of Buddha: A true story of animal and human endurance

  • I believe in that monk's supernatural powers.

  • @Bastylax86 These monks are just normal ppl like u and me but they have alot more love , kind and compasion toward animals and humans

  • DON'T THINK ANIMALS ARE FRIENDLY, PEOPLE ARE ATTACK BY ANIMALS...LOL

  • I have been there and can tell you that they are NOT drugged. In the heat of the day they just lay around...but after the last picture taking session you can (for a fee) go into the canyon and watch the tigers play and exercise...it's pretty amazing. I was within feet of these amazing animals as they were free from any leashes...and I watched them run and play.

  • ชอบที่มีการอนุรักษ์ แต่สงสารที่เห็นมันร้อน

  • @nurseaey1 I agree with you, wholeheartedly

  • @Rhed009 you don't know the truth. so, don't say anything to make yourself look like a fool.

  • how much take care for the Tiger in this temple??

  • Comment removed

  • Things like ths make me so angry. Tigers are not supposed to be treated like this.

  • @matrags They sure look well treated to me. No chains like the circus...no cages like the zoo. Why don't you bitch in a circus/zoo video.

  • @sairoku Why don't you bitch back in your psychiatric ward, fanboy?

  • @BigMrFirebird Ok, but can I torch your dick first? I don't think you need it.

  • @sairoku You sure have a fixation with dicks, don't you? Bet you can't stop looking in the mirror, eh?

  • @sairoku Whether they are well treated is not the point. It is completely unnatural behavior for tigers to sit around while fat rich Americans pose for pictures. This is little better than the circus.

  • @matrags At least theyre doing something to conserve such a beautiful species, theyre safer in the temple, where theyre protected. Its not the greasest solution but its the best we have at the moment.

  • @ilvyou1178

and let the tigers dead by hungry?or by hunters?no!

  • The tigers looks very unusual it is as if their back has been pressed down.Their gait is also quite artificial. It is better to kill the animals then treat them like this.

  • This is bullshit! The tiger's are maltreated to the extreme. Shut the damn place down and throw everyone connected with it to unfettered and unsedated tigers.

  • Have you ever give foods to beggars or yell your mother and father? or cheat your girlfriend or boy friend? or fking lie to who treat you good? or become 100% vegetarian no meat, no seafood, no trash talking before? If you never do, so don't make comments to here.

  • @hunggaucon

i once stepped on a beetle, thats why i would never condemn the nazis for killing 6 million people

  • If those people say THIS TEMPLE IS EVIL, SO stop watch these videos or any stupid comments and plz never go to Thailand. Try to look at what happening in this world, What countries having wars right now? Do you see Thailand have wars now? why you don't say those countries have war right now " Suicide war" Why say this temple is suicide, fking non sense. You say this temple is evil, what about you? what you have done in your life? Have you give some money to beggars on the street?

  • @hunggaucon

They are saying this about this temple because they are jealous!simple.

They wold like to be with the tigers!

  • i see a lot of retards posted silly comments

  • 0:20 i swear that tiger is dead..

  • 0:22 i swear the tiger is dead..

  • They look sedated... id like to sedate you ya ghandi wannabe

  • Wooow.

  • Lol i need that one tiger in my room :'D my cat is small tiger is bigger :'D

  • Help Rescue the Tigers! check out rescuethetigersorg

  • I don't think I would like to see this first hand. Tigers are beautiful animals, but wild. Not sedated and abused by handlers for profit, as these animals obviously are. These tigers are lethargic, they would not be so reluctant to move in the wild. Nor would they put up with being mauled by idiots with the romantic notion that the monks and the tigers have a 'unique' relationship.

  • Tigers are born to be wild, not born to be pampered by their pray

  • I've been there and filmed for a television show that helped expose the so called abbots for what they are doing. The Tigers are systematically abused and exploited for the benefit of misinformed tourists. By paying money to see these poor tigers you are personally helping to enslave them. The only way this type of abuse will stop is if tourist make educated decisions when traveling abroad.

  • So Cool!

  • Great to see man and beast living as one TOP VID ..

  • where is this ?

  • @Bluedream1975 Thailand

  • @chenjinchai Yes, i know, i mean where in thailand !!

  • @Bluedream1975 The temple is located in the Saiyok district of Thailand's Kanchanaburi province

  • Tigers are full of various drugs and sedatives. Congratulations to Western tourists, they support animal cruelty.

  • @Rhed009

are you sure that the tigers are full of drugs and sedatives?do you work there to say this?how can you say this,if you dont know itself.

  • @Rhed009 bullshit.

  • @Rhed009 Thats not true, ive watched a number of documentaries about this, the tigers are so calm because theyve never tasted blood andf theyve always been around humans. An animal who has spent its whole life in close contact with humans is comfortable and calm, while lack of meat and blood means the hunting instinct is never awakened. The result is a gigantic domestic tabby :)

  • @GenericFantasyXO thats impossible, tigers only live off of meat otherwise they wouldn't be Carnivores...

  • @izurz Its quite possible actually. Meat is more nutritiious for them but theyve been known to eat vegetation, mostly because it aids in digestion etc but it does no harm to them and it fills their stomachs, carnivores eat meat because they need 10 times as much vegetation to get the same amount of nutrition.

  • @Rhed009 how do you know that?

  • @Rhed009

    Jeees...you don't know a thing yo.

  • @Rhed009 proof please

  • To Hardinge56

That place is the temple . It is very peaceful. Don't think like that

  • Most likely the truth: THESE TIGERS WILL BE SLAUGHTERED FOR THEIR FUR! I've read an article about this second business and the author had some good evidence!

  • These poor creatures are abused and heavily drugged to keep them pasive. Please dont contribute to the supposed 'momks' who feed tourists trugger words like 'conservation' 'and Sanctuary' They do it because tourists reward them by visiting... DONT GO THERE!

  • Tiger Temple/ Animal Cruelty -1 type that into the search

  • In the Canyon, the tigers are disciplined with Tiger Balm being rubbed onto their faces, tiger urine being sprayed into their mouths &(surreptitiously, but in full view of tourists) being punched quickly on the face & head.

  • On their way to & from the canyon the tigers are encouraged to move by being lifted by the base of the tail, shoved & punched. One “tiger girl” always walks next to the tiger with a garden hoe in her hand, this she waves in front of the tiger’s face or bangs on the ground next to it whenever it slows down or stops. (The threat is implicit, but the tiger is motivated to move whenever it sees that hoe.)

  • You stupid narrow minded gullible tourists are lining the pockets of these pseudo-religious con artists who get money to treat these poor animals appalingly.

Try doing a search for Tiger Temple abuse and see what comes up.

  • @redpedgirl i have, and it is very poorly researched. For example, the abbot beating the two tigeres? The tigers were fighting, and as with dog fights, youre meant to hit them in the nose and paws with a stick to break them up. And the staff uniform changes? Its thai tradition. They wear different colors to work each day of the week to honor a different member of the royal family, for example, monday they wear yellow for the king, thursday is purple for the princess etc

  • Some monks r very good with animals cos at my temple i heard a monk saying sum monks can walk around with animals lik tigers lions etc

  • how do you teach the tiger to heel? i cant with my dog...

  • this must be b4 the monks were all eatin alive

  • suicide temple

  • @HAMMERxHCA narrowminded

  • @HAMMERxHCA Ever been there? Didnt think so

  • a great place. lovely tigers

  • Little Buddha! In one of the remote provinces of Laos a camera crew filmed tiger with a little boy on his back. youtube.com/watch?v=1g1Qhd-FuwU

  • where in thailand is this located?

  • no they are not drugged they have all been around humans since they were cubs they are used to the people

  • I have a notion these cats are well behaved because are well treated well fed and are probably several generations removed from the wild.It may become one of the last refuges for these cats.

  • you are crazy

  • are all the tigers drugd?

  • When will people learn that this place is a co and a scam? It has NO conservational value, dubious husbandry practices and may actually be engaged in the illegal trade in Tigers (this is to supply parts to the Chinese medicine industry.)

  • When will people learn that this place is a co and a scam? It has NO conservational value, dubious husbandry practices and may actually be engaged in the illegal trade in Tigers (this is to supply parts to the Chinese medicine industry.)

  • They do seem relaxed around the monk. Incredible to see how all cats do the same things.

  • great

  • Big Cats...?

  • on november i go sure again

  • i was there last winter and it was not that great. Its kinda of expensive for thailand, the tigers are all chained down, and they didnt let us touch them, but i did anyways. plus its not a real "temple". but i guess it was better than other tiger zoo's, because i think they drug them.

  • I'd love to own a pet tiger, as long as it saw me as a companion and not as its next meal. :P

  • Cute tigers

  • how do they get the tigers to behave like that

  • @kurox67

I guess they use their psychic culture magic!

  • @kurox67

They dont. The tigers are still wild inside !!!

  • such beautiful animals, just goes to show, they are not all violent,

  • just got back from Thailand a few days ago but didnt have the time to do this :(

  • i would love to be able to go there someday...gorgeous animals

  • just wait

  • I have read comments when somebody said that they give drugs to tigers be easy..

Their look seems strange. This is not good.

  • Too bad they don't have a WOLF TEMPLE...or a FOX TEMPLE, oh well, TIGERs will do! :D *Whirr*

  • i'm not a monk, but i live in amazonia, and i hold poisonous snakes and other wild animals with no problem, i reach selfcontrol by meditation, wild animals can easily feel if you are afraid,

that's how they understand our fear:

    1st: if i feel fear because i'm a prey!

2nd: i feel fear because i'm about to compete with them and i'm afraid to loose

3rd: i fear them cause i made something to upset them, like stealing food or invading teritory

    and that's when they attack

  • @ferloc0 interesting insight. thank you for it. makes alot of sense.

  • Awww the tigers are soo cute 8-) and they didn't eat the people :D

  • Read about the truth

Search Behind the Cloak of Buddha on Facebook plz

  • my dream is to go there someday

  • thats amazing

  • This place is not a good place at all! They are farming tigers here!

  • @asilverfoxlaughs This place is not a good place at all! They are farming bad humans here!

  • There was a story behind, before the tiger temple is build, the monks adopt a baby tiger after seeing the mother tiger died and there goes an increase of tigers after that. The monks treat every tigers incredibly good.

  • Have I missed something? What would compel somebody to believe MONKS out of all people to be mistreating animals?

  • cred ca se hranesc doar cu iarba

  • It's a great place to go. The monks are very nice and intelligent people. As for all the other Asian countries.

  • poor tigers... they have been caught by hunters and when they gets old, they'll get killed, and the reason that people can clap them, is because they have got anaesthesia... and when there's no vissitors they'll just sit in small cages where they almost can't move. :( people who vissit places like this, gives money to the people who does so mean things to the tigers...

  • These tigers look heavily sedated

  • We have to stop them - they are illegally farming Tigers for exploitation and money ...go to Behind the Cloak of the Buddha on Facebook..check out the pics..These so called monks need to be stopped...

  • Its the effect of Buddhist meditation and the vibration it has on the tigers

  • big cats!

  • tripsharers. com - great vid

  • I wouldnt get overtop of a tiger like that ever. By chance something happens, some half naked old man i doubt will save me.

  • Have a look at tigertempletruths (dot) org to see more evidence of the abuse and illegal trading taking place at the Tiger Temple, Thailand

  • Tiger food mix with drug or some kind of drug to control tiger brain, that very bad soon Tiger brain will be dead! Poor Tiger! please do not use animal to make money by donation, do some think, we are the people smart more than animal show your ability...

  • @Tubbyonly

where did you get the facts?

please put in some source of your info before

    sayin this sortta stuff

    thanks

  • @Tubbyonly

so why don't you trying and protesting

for abolishment of all zoo ?

what zoo is even worse is animals must stay in small cages all day long

  • 20-22 belly rubs ;.;!

  • Comment removed

  • Never go to this temple!! These tigers live in hell!!

  • Comment removed

  • i agree with NL Michel they were drugged up when i was their all they ever do is sleep

  • I have been there, the tigers eat right before we arrive to be at their best ... the rest after dinner and therefore dont need to drug them. We walked down with one of them and that one was rather alert! The tigers are the norm, their tempo decides for the rest of us. They are chained, and that is for our protection and only 1 or to are allowed to go close under supervision so I would say that it was rather safe - and this is about the site at Konchanaburi!

  • I've been there. the tigers are not druged. It said on a paper that they were sleeping because of the heat on the day.. in the evening they get more active..

  • Do those tigers can really get along with people? Just like normal animals?

  • From what i saw yes, one tiger i was afraid of because it roared so much :d but they said i could go and pet it on the back :) Maybe they have gotten beaten up so the maybe fear people, but who knows.. only the monks :)

  • yeah, who knows, we only know they have their tips on keeping tigers cool. I would like to see those tigers this year.

  • Animal Abuse Bullshit. People Talk before having any information about the subject, American morons. First- Watch the documentary about The Tiger Temple, THEN talk. They are doing a wonderful job.

  • Sybell Foxcroft has 2 books coming out on the abuse at this temple. Currently there is a charge pending on the temple and court hearings are taking place in Thailand.....

  • That's fuckin' awesome. Tigers are beautiful animals!

  • you kidding...

  • @ordinaryman1982 I feel pitty of your opinion and yourself.

  • I'd love to go there but I know if I go, with my luck, it will be the one time the tigers go ape shit and start attacking the tourists, so it's best for everyone that I don't!

  • @mattjmit - haha ... you must have seen the movie "Pure Luck"

  • @mattjmit hahaha

  • Awesome.

  • its such a beautiful animal

  • monks wouldnt drug aniamls

  • And a priest would never rape a little boy.... please.

  • there is no way the tigers are NOT drugged. if you were a bad ass tiger would you let some old fart tourists with huge cameras takin flashes in your face... HELL NO!

  • Alot of people say they dope the tigers up. but when i went there after having pics taken they gave the option of paying extra to watch the tigers play in the water before they closed and the tigers were pretty lively then so i don't believe they drug them at all! they say they feed them up first & take them out @ the hottest time of day, and it's so hot in the tiger canyon with no shelter from the sun so i can see why they'd be pretty calm.

  • I'm adopted from Thailand by Swedish parents at the age of SIX WEEKS, if I ever was to go to Thailand on holiday, I'd go here and stroke the tigers.

  • I have also been there!:) but i felt sorry for the tigers..when they drug them to sleep:(

  • I am an animal trainer and we do not sedate animals we DO make people sign waivers though in case you get hurt we do this at our own risk, if our really interested in an exotic encounter then their are places that let you do this in Florida.

  • My dream is to be able to pet a live tiger before I die... maybe I should go there.

  • I love tigers too. I would take the risk to hug a beautiful tiger.

  • I'd be shittin myself!!! But I suppose the tigers are drugged

  • i have been there, its really awesome!!!!!!

  • you cant domesticate a wild tiger, even if theyve been kept since babies

theyre natural aggressive intincts are much to strong to be controlled and trained, at one point or another theyll kill their own trainer for no reason

  • It it becomes hungry enough.

  • Trying to win a trip to thailand. Would love to report about this kind of stuff. Click on my name to check out the entry video.

  • awsome

  • Yes they are heavily sedated, that's the only reason i didn't go whilst in Thailand.

  • I went there. The Irish volunteer swore blind to me that they wern't sedated.

  • I am pretty sure the tigers are sedated.

  • ok, im going there coming year, dont need no bike

  • So cute that one tiger lieing on his back looking for a belly rub. =^..^= meow

  • Oh yes sooooo cute.

It's a shame that these tigers are mistreated, drugged, beaten, and caged just for the tourist trade and to make money.

    Meow to you too.

  • All the tigers looked stoned.

  • Because they are.

  • those tigers look like they've been hitting the old bong. lol

  • iv lived in thailand for five years its well known that the tigers are given horse tranks it costs a 1000 bht a day to feed each tiger they pay for it buy letting tourist viste please dont its cruel and a money spinner and it wont stop till the money stops coming in vote with your feet and walk away

  • I'm Thai. And from what I heard we use chickens to feed tigers not horse.==a

  • if you don't know , don't say .

  • I want a tiger

  • i hope nothing ever happenes to tourists that go there, or the monks, or the tigers. But it seems like to me that the monks there have a certain bond with the tigers...I hope
