Aye, they are. In Japan, you do not really need to be an actor in order to be a voice actor. You just give out your voice talents, that is all. But when you voice out, it should be like as if you are actually in the scenario itself. That is the fun part.
So much different compared to the American side where you must know how to act before you become a voice actor.
But they have one thing in common: It is difficult to be voice actors/actresses.
