where in the world did you find this? I was there when they did this and I was blown away. I was cheering at the University of Florida at the time and I thought this squad was the best thing since sliced bread. this is the best dance team routine ever in history.
I believe they won in 83 or 84 first. That was an amazing routine. The routine was extremely fast with lost of peel offs and tumbling. No other team came closed to performing on that level that year.
I doubt UCA didn't start UDA College Dance Nationals before that year. 1986 is the debut year for College Dance Nationals. Since I was MSU student, I've seen all of their trophies, nine of them.

I loved this back in the 80s what a blast to get to see it again. Memphis State was the best program in the nation by far back then!

Believe it or not, this is their first national champion. They've been winning for the last 9 years. 1986-1994 was the best years for MSU Pom Pon!

The dance program was under UCA back then and they performed with the UCA Cheer at college camp.
