@sethy2004 Because theres too much of a risk factor if he were to aim for the hole. If he mishits it aiming at the hole (with a tournament on the line there would be a lot of pressure to hit it perfectly, yes even tiger can sometimes buckle to pressure) theres the possibility of him hitting it short and losing the tournament.

If he were to hit it where he did on the other hand, then he effectively takes the water out of the shot.
