  • 6:15 not anger shippers, REVENGE!

  • That's the only way I know. Kill the gutless fucker and stand there a while and watch. If you can think of another way.

    Brie?

  • Literally, I just wanted to see you then him die. That's ok, isn't it?

  • The little girl on the bike, the captain's daughter, is TV comedienne, Miranda Hart.

  • The British pirates thought this was a "picnic war" like the 1807-1808 British invasions of Buenos Aires!?. The "price" for looting and robbering other nation's natural resources is not for free. In fact, it becames more and more "expensive" for colonialist countries. Malvinas islands are ours. Just imagine if Argentina would claim property for your Slate Islands. They are equally close as Falklands to our territory. How would you feel it about it?

  • @malvinero1996 funny that we scared you so bad that you changed youre constitution to make "reunification" peacefull.

  • Miranda, the captain's daughter in the letter, is now comedian Miranda Hart by the way.

  • @ragerule2006 WOOOOOW can't beleive that haha!

  • @Matt5bm It's quite true. The tabloids have only just been all over it XD

  • I don't understand why the UK only sent 3 destroyers to the Falklands...It seems like with a military superpower like the Brits would have come in stronger and just overwhelmed the Argentines with brute power and force. Screw the "Task Force"..send in a whole battle group and crush them like the United States would

  • @StoneCold75

try "British naval forces in the Falklands War" on wiki

BTW dont think Britain has been a "superpower" since 1945,

The UK couldn't afford to maintain it cold-war forces & large navy in the 70's and had scrapped its last large carriers HMS Eagle & Ark Royal, If we hadn't , The Argentinians would have never invaded in the first place,

there would have been 60 or so RN phantoms and Bucaneers down there in no time, no contest

  • @farmerned6 Yes, I am quite well read on my military conflicts, however I admit they have usually focused on US conflicts, and I was stunned that what you noted is correct about how downsized the British are in military strength in the modern era. That is kind of sad, that the great England Empire that ruled the world for hundreds of years, was sold off as scrap metal. But , when your "sister" country is the United States, your pretty well protected. Tell the Queen we have her covered sir.

  • @StoneCold75 As far as I'm aware we had a Big Navy (1700's-1950's) because we are a trading nation/colonial power, we've rarely had a big standing army in peacetime, The UK has been bankrupted by WW1 (loans to russia) & WW2 (US repaid 2006) and with decline of Empire and limited natural resources cant be a big a player as It was. & Forgive me for being cynical but history show's the UK cant rely on the US to protect it unless it its own interest to do so. example IRA-Noraid

  • @farmerned6 Hmm well we did give you 50 plus years to pay it off...and Canada charged you interest lol. As far as your cynical view of the US role in the IRA, what would you like to see, a Superpower step on Ireland? Thats a little small scale for America to get involved in, even though it may seem important to you, its your regional matter. I was referring to a more worldwide threat to the UKs soveriegn safety and existance, like Germany in WW2..

  • @StoneCold75 And I used the example of Noraid , to show that before the "war on terror" the US allowed people to raise money to fund the IRA's terror campaign within its own borders, Choosing not to offend its own Irish-descended citizen's, but passively allowing an ally to attacked.

  • @StoneCold75 I'm so tired of this misconception that the US saved the world during ww2. We love you and all but really...

  • @manchesterfellow Well, we love you too....and if America didnt get involved England would have fell to Germany, and Germany would have gone after Russia, who would have fought hard, but eventually fall, then with Russias endless oil supply, Germany would have run all over Europe, and then looked at America as its next conquest. Then America would have nuked all of Europe instead of just Japan, wow that would have been quite ugly

  • @StoneCold75 You've got to be kidding.. right?

First of all, what did you do? You sold us a few materials? Are you aware that Russia was GIVING Germany MORE resources FREE OF CHARGE at the same time?

Before you entered the war we destroyed the world's 3rd biggest Navy (Italian) at Taranto. We had turned the tide of the war in North Africa and were starting to attack the Germans. And you could of never had Nukes without capturing the German Intel (and scientists) so how would you nuke any1?

  • @manchesterfellow Now...you are the one that has to be kidding. Your timelines of history taught over there in UK must be different then Stateside. Hitler DOA 4/30/45..The US Manhattan Project 1939-1944, and bombs delivered to Army in early 1944, Trinity tested in New Mexico July 1945, Fat Man and Little Boy bombs dropped on Japan 8/9/45. I presume your referring to a handful of German scientists that fled Germany in 1933 and emigrated to the US, like Max Born, but they did so on their own

  • @StoneCold75 Hmmm - my timeline is fine. Who menioned when the Manhattan project did or did not start?

See what you did stonecold, was you read the words - but didn't understand what they meant. LOL!

But I don't want to turn this into a mud throwing contest - I make similar mistakes sometimes.

Fact remains - The US did not save the UK in WW2. It took a team effort to defeat the Germans, Italians and Japanese.

  • @manchesterfellow I don't even know what the hell your talking about anymore, whatever this went far enough for a Falklands documentary..peace

  • God Bless England!

  • @TheJoeyD27 GOD BLESS WHOLE WORLD my Mate! War is a disgrace, things like this should not happen again. Countries win or loose wars, but all warriors involved loose...... the winners and the loosers. War is the worst sin humanity still seems to keep on allowing in the name of...... "Our Nation".......

  • @W2009Matty sorry for that my friend.

  • Dear daddy, why are you fighting for a land thats clearly not ours, dear daddy, why did you defend colonialism?

  • @samuraifugitivo Dude, remember: MILITARY FOLLOW ORDERS, THEY NOT THINK ABOUT IT.

  • @gustavorocha78 thats the hard part being a military, when you have to do things you know are wrong in any sense, good point dude!

  • @samuraifugitivo The Falklands have been British for over 150 years, They were British then, they were British in 1982, they are British now and they will always be British!

  • All the piano music and kids letters are not doing the syory no justice. In my humble opion.

  • if i remember my nbcd course correctly, SHEF did not have her fire main isolated so when it was breached once, they lost all pressure and couldn't fight the fire. It's drummed in now at OST for sure, isolate the main.

  • argie's are planning an invasion in falkland..

  • let em, if they're seriously that stupid our boys shall just have to remind them why they shouldnt bother...

  • Parents friend's son died on Shef xx

  • we will never forget the men of the sheffield

  • @davo1193 I do not forget the men of the ARA Belgrano
