how can they compare a "competitors helmet" to their helmet when they hit it with a puck at a different location on the helmet. the top bit buckles more while that ridge is more sturdy. that's not a valid comparison test. maybe their helmet is better but if you want to compare helmets then you need to hit them with the puck at the same location on the helmet. as a scietific researcher i am afraid i have to give this a thumbs down for trying to market "results" on shonky science.
I got a new helmet today. Honestly I got a Bauer 7500 cause it was like $130 but I saw this helmet for like $170ish. And honestly when I picked it up I thought this is the lightest helmet I've ever seen. And I thought I was the best protective on the interior. I wish I had the extra money for it, seeing as I got a concussion two weeks ago. Honestly this is an amazing helmet. Best I've seen. I wish I had it cause my head still hurts. Would of saved me a world of hurt!

concussion tho', are a matter of shock due too rapid deceleration of the brain inside your head. It's the hit, the helmet protects the outer shell... not the travel speed of your brains.
