  • wow some harsh words here, I think what's important for everyone to know is that most Americans are appalled that we are occupying Iraq and other countries. We have been protesting our governments idiocy from the beginning.

  • i was in sadr city in 2008 fighting if i ever seen this guy on this video i would bet his ass he doesn't no whats going on over there for really. let him walk down a road in sadr city one one would ever see him again. then tell he how innocent this place is. this guy is a joke.

  • Yeah thats right hazeltonshain because that baby in the video screaming with a hole in it wasnt innocent.

    You yanks should be exterminated.

    Youve got no brains.

  • AMERICAN VERY HERO TO KILL CIVILIANS????!!!!!!!! FUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCK OFF

    VIVA LA IRAQ!!!

    LONG LIVE IRAQI RESISTANCE!!!

    SHOES+SHOES=BUSH

USA Amye Terrorists GO OUT FROM IRAQ ,UR DEAD IN IRAQ!

    ALLAH WTH OS ALLAH STRONG!!!

  • -- GOD bless MUJAHEEDEN.

  • This kind of matter is happened bcoz of Bin La Din not bcoz of Bush. Bin La Din started the War. Now I think someone should stop the War.

  • Bin Laden was chosen, groomed, and trained by the US CIA years before 9/11.Wake up and get informed.

    God help us all!

    Truthseekr07

  • CIA trained him to against the invasion from Soviet Union..not to kill civilians..You should get real informed.

  • Sounds like a plan to me wall em off then bomb the hell out of them.

  • Accoring to Foxnews...

"Report: Secret Order Lets U.S. Strike Al Qaeda Anywhere"

SOmeone needs to inform Foxnews what the frack "secret" means!

  • RUSSIA and CHINA should destroy USA . USA is nazi SHIT .

  • No! Russia, China and U.S.A should destroy altogether.

  • oh all of you with your comments about us killing innocent civilians can kiss my ass. i've been in Sadr for the past 3 mos. and have been in all the fighting you've seen on the news. we're not killing innocents, the enemy is, they shoot rpg's into crowded marketplaces and iraqi army shoots up anything that moves and until you've been there in the shit not a single fucking one of you deserve to talk shit about it. i'm sick of us being made out the only bad guys here.

  • i'm with you, buddy. my unit supplied the equipment and manpower to begin building that wall. we were there from the begnning of that mess. rpg's and small arms came from a window, and it was countered with lesser or equal force. i didn't see a single civilian within 100 meters of the wall itself. they'd have to be retarded to go anywhere near U.S. troops when there's something like that going on. is it their first day in iraq, or what?

  • no u forget, do you know why the enemy are shooting at civilians,?? its because iraq is deeply divided between shia and sunni muslims, they have been at civil war for hundreds of years if now thousands. but u can't just give our military too much credit, we had some accidental air strikes that killed innocent civilians.

  • USA= Bulldogs.

  • everyone check out this video. "tribute to US soldier who died for kuwait saudis and israel" my friend work very hard on it so rate and comment.

  • as usual the americans prove their "superpower" by bombing the innocent civilians.......

  • 17 years of non-stop bombardments...if that's not genocide, what is?

  • Correction make that august 14th. And I only endeavored to point out that if the goal of the occupation of Iraq is to pacify the region maybe we should try a more diplomatic approach.

  • Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush, Rice, and all the other ugly snakes to be waterboarded, tazed, waterboarded, tazed, over and over again. PLEASE! ASAP!

  • I mean if you think about it our terms of negotiation are really retarded. Our terms are like saying this to a person "I'm going to shoot you until you heal, when you heal we can talk." We say that we wont leave the region until it is stabilized, but war by it's very nature is destabilizing. Maybe we should rethink our terms of negotiation.

  • What I mean was that no war has ended with out discussion at least. I am rethinking my position slightly. Could our victory against Japan be considered an ultimate victory. I mean Japan did submit to our terms of peace, which seems to be the only way we negotiate. But in the end we used a nuclear bomb achieve that victory. So what is our goal with Iraq to make them submit to our reign. Are we going to have to nuke Iraq win?

  • Japan surendered before the atomic bombs.

  • The bombs were dropped on August 6th and 9th. Japan surrendered on the fifteenth.

  • Japan does not make a good comparison because the Japanese bureaucracy was kept in tact after the war, and the society was much more cohesive than religious/ethnic factional situation in Iraq.

  • It sounds like all were doing in Iraq is murdering and harassing civilians. I don't know why we don't just try to talk it out and sign a peace treaty with the Iraqis. There hasn't been a single war in modern history that has ended in ultimate victory. Not WW II, not Vietnam, not anything that I can think of, in the end we either withdrew or a treaty was signed. *Sigh* but the US government is full of idiots so that will never happen.

  • well, that's what terrorist wars are like...

(and the usa is the unrivalled expert on that)

  • God Damn these war criminals

  • I've never seen such a dark policy in recent history, I think the west deliberately blind them self, ignoring this Nazism plan to care on, similar scenario happened when the Nazi gathered Jewish in bad neighbour areas surrounding with border wires to have easy access and kill them, despite that every day the west trampling and shouting human right, china and so on. So this is human right? Than go to hell you mother fuckers with your human right.

  • I love this stuff! Someone uses the words "REAL NEWS" and automatically we believe this is the truth. Very good get rich quick scheme with all of your donations to make these 2 minute clips about nonsense.

  • Brilliant. Simply brilliant. And this is why I donate, because finally, real news.

  • Pepe, my question to you is: Currently, does Sadr have any influence/control of the southern Iraq oil production? Or is the the fear that when elected, he'll control it?

    hdll

  • ..even if i agree, PLEASE REMAIN IMPARTIAL in your reports, pepe

  • There is nothing wrong with Pepe Escobar's commentaries; he is quickly positioning himself as 'the opinion.' Every news source has it. Escobar's refusal to remain impartial adds a little flavour to The Real News without compromising its promise to deliver that side of the news that we rarely see. You don't have to agree with Escobar's slant, but you must agree that it's quite difficult to ignore. And personally, I 'll take his slant over Bill O'Reilly's any day.

  • Pepe has crossed the bounds from commentary to display bias here, but to be honest, who can blame him? This is an outrage. And yet, where else is this being shown, apart from on TRN, and Al Jazeera?

  • Spot on.

  • it's not shown on Al Jazeera either... Al Jazeera is trying to please the U.S government now, they're not fair anymore.

  • Lastnymleft tell me when would our so called news report on it, I don't care about Pepe's slant the point is it happened and we as Americans need to wake up I don't care about the bull$%% anymore, it seems we are more tuned into Wright, American Idol and Dancing With The Stars then we are this and then wonder why the world hates us so, I could think of one good reason. SHEESH

  • What the hell are you on my case for? I'm agreeing with Pepe!

    SHEESH back at you!

  • disturbing beyond words

  • I love Pepe'. He tells it like it its.

  • The US military is forcing a fight between Moqtada and al Maliki, and they are going to get it. This will lead to horrific violence and tens of thousands of innocent people dead. The US government is hell bent on making Iraq a real version of Bedrock just to satisfy the lusting cravings of the neocon Americans in power. The new America, the largest terror state in the world.

  • I am really getting sick of this crap. Why is our army acting like the Israeli Defence Forces? Bombing civilian centers NEVER wins over the hearts and minds of the people. It only strengthens the resistance.

  • The IDF have been acting as advisors to the US military in Iraq for years. Israel doesn't want peace in Palestine, so is it any wonder that the tactics they recommend here are nothing like peace?

  • Yeah, you are definately right on that. I just saw a video the other day of Sunni insurgents sniping U.S. troops using Israeli weapons. They are playing both sides just to create chaos to remain the lone superpower in the middle east.

  • sickening

  • Makes me wanna puke. I can't believe my tax dollars are going to pay for this bullshit. I'm with the truckers & the dock workers... national strike until the troops come home.

  • You guys could do it, you know. You could end this war. You'd have 70% of the nation behind you, too. Get your leadership fully behind it by telling them this will be the greatest PR and membership boost they will ever have.
